  1. How much is the COV asking in market now? Well, I'm not selling at this moment as my EM is currently tenanted and would consider selling if able to fetch my ideal asking price lor. Hehe

  3. Ya, think I will also put many those floor traps around. yes, i love the big space especially for my kids to run around within the compound. Also, feel safer to stay ground floor when my kids are still so young....read so much about young kids falling off from high floor if windows grilles not locked...that's why ground floor is the choice for me now. Unless my kids are both grown up, then I will consider high floor or even PH.

  5. I think should not able to paint the PES cos MCST will want to maintain the standard of the property.
  6. Thanks newbie and sway I'm looking forward to my new place but still long way to go... TOP 2015. Anyway, i'm here to get more ideas and also advise from fellow ground floor owners. Infact, i'm quite lucky cos the developer actually extended the roofing at the PES... initially only follow the upper levels' balcony shades.... but now, we were told that developer will be doing full covered PES all the way. It's nice to hear that so that i will not have to worry about upstairs throw rubbish.

  8. I was shocked to see the high price for DBSS flats. Went to take a look at the new DBSS at Hougang (Parkland Residences). It's really unbelievable that a HDB flat built under the DBSS scheme is soooooo expensive! How to afford buying a flat? DBSS 3room (est at) S$400k DBSS 4room (est at) S$500-S$600k DBSS 5room (est at) S$600-S$700k It's simply unacceptable. First of all, what is HDB flat? It should be a more affordable and subsidised public housing, but with this new scheme implmented by using the private developer, it actually jacks up the price to so much higher! Imagine, how much will those 1st owner sells after their flat meets the MOP? Purchased at $700k....means they will sell it at about $900k???? This price for a HDB 5room flat??? What cooling measures are we talking about here if our public housing is also selling at these dirt high prices!!!??? Really have to worry hard for my kids and our next generation!

  12. Hi Darren Wow! I like the photo showing the timber deck flooring! As I just bought a 1st floor with big PES unit.....still thinking how to do the PES to a nice cosy and resort feel house. Will visit the website and take a look then

  14. I think it depends on the neighbours staying upstairs lor. Cos my elder brother used to stay 1st floor with PES and he doesn't have any major problems. Thus, I also recently bought a 1st floor unit with PES too. Let's pray and cross my fingers that my future neighbours will be ok lor.
