Oh, do u mean if the reno causes the leakage (by say damaging the original HDB waterproofing)? That i agree. Otherwise, if it is a defective waterproofing by HDB in the 1st plc, shouldn't they paid for it? Jus to share my experience staying in the same unit for >20 yrs, Some years back, my neighbour downstairs complained that there was leakage from my unit to theirs. Upon checking by HDB, I was instructed to re-do my bathrooms' flooring. Only the cost of re-doing the flooring (though both toilet bowls had to be hacked & replaced too inevitably) was shared 50-50 with the neighbour. I fought for the cost of the toilet bowls but sorry HDB said cannot include in the cost-sharing! When I did my major reno last yr, i specifically told 3D to do a gd job & dun cause me trouble in the future years. Luckily they give 5-yr warranty. Anything wrong during this 5 yrs (touch wood), sure will make them responsible & pay for it!

I thought if ur leakage (upstairs) affects ur neighbour downstairs, u have to rectify (e.g redo waterproofing etc) & the cost is to be borne by both 50-50... Not sure abt new BTO though... mayb can complain to HDB & let them foot the bill bcos of their lousy waterproofing...

I dunno much abt air-con.. Anyway, below is the capacity of my units i understand: MXY-3A28VA: 30,366 BTU/hr MSY-GE10VA: 8,530 BTU/hr MSY-GE18VA: 16,377 BTU/hr So total 33,437 BTU/hr if all 3 units running. But doubt there'll b a chance i on all 3 air-cons; mostly only 18+10 or 10+10. So shouldn't b a prob? My air-con guys recommended this config after he visited my plc & understood my usage pattern..

Put heart bro! Not doubt abt it! I dun like to see myself (plain John) in mirror except for combing hair & making sure i'm neatly dressed before going out.. haha! Really can't tahan seeing myself eat, watch TV, sleep, etc. in the mirror.. Some ppl even hv a body-ht mirror in front of their WC & shower!! OMG!! Sooo d**n sensous!!

Hi Jaykr, the air-con trunking in my MBR was run mainly below & run thru the wardrobe (u may see my pics & posts i shared with edd above). Not so much of an issue for me, except there is gap between headboard & wall which I can bear with it. But the same thing is definitely a no-no for edd. So really up to individual. Most importantly is must comms with ur ID & air-con guy before installation. [Actually i left it to my ID, carpenter & air-con guy; luckily turned out ok. Given my layout (a 3-rm), there's not a single trunking seen for my living rm air-con & only a small part for my common rm air-con.] I saw in ur blog u went for a Sys-2 + a single split. Is it to avoid having too many trunking?

So u r really using glass arh? OMG! That'll so so nice!! (Wah full-ht tampered - i supposed it's partially frost? - glass sliding doors.. must hv cost a bomb!) I'm ok with glass or reflective laminate, but I'm one who never like mirror. So although i was advised to use mirrors to create a more spacious feel i straightaway rejected the ideal! LOL!

there was no additional charge for my 3rd.. or they factored in liao..

It's from Englander @ IFC Sungei Kadut (they hv other branches too). $799 inclusive of 1 x Englander Reverie Classic latex mattress + 1 x Merlington frame & headboard. PS. I've been to different makes of mattress; many of their headboards r very similar or from the same few manufacturers...

Glad to hear tt our reno is progressing smoothly.. Looks like no issue at all to complete on target (by 20 Jun); still got one whole mth to go! In fact may even complete earlier! Looking forward to seeing another fellow 3D completed product. Cheers!
