    Wow, very good progress wor! I like the way u moved the doorway for the MBR toilet to create a shower area, which would not be possible otherwise. My layout very similar to yours. Should've thought of that!!

    Yo! finally gotta tok after like 1-2 yrs! I no hv T-Blog bcos was busy wif the reno (which took my almost 3 mths!! ) & PC was not set-up (living at my bro's plc so not too convenient using my bro's PC) Congrats on adding a new member to ur family, bro!

    Ok leh, ur shoebox does not look too small from the pics.. with clever design & use of space, I'm sure it can be spacious too! Cheers!

    Agree! Look for better looking ones lo.. I do not use to fancy ceiling fans too (remember the old 'shaky' ceiling fans hanging from poles in old schools or army camps? haha! but gone were those..) but u'll appreciate the space-saving (especially for our 3-rm) & cool breeze circulating the entire rm w/o switching on the air-con. Even with air-con on, put both to low fan speed will do for optimal cooling effect.. the only dwnside, the cleaning of the blades overhead (i do it once every 2 months) but standing fans need cleaning too, don't they? My most-hated is wall mounted fans though! Just sharing my personal experience..

    They never run thru with u the positioning of all the toilet assessories before installation? Once installed ho say liao! I oso got a few not-so-ideal installations but they consulted me before installation so only got myself to blame.. I guess pros & cons lo.. Else, looks like progressing well bro!

    Hi Tazzer The ceiling fan brand is Fanco (the model here is FFM4000 3-blade 48"). The light from it is just enof to lit the room generally (e.g. for watching TV, cleaning) but definitely not enof for reading & tasks that needs gd lighting. This is the only rm with ceiling fan light becos i like to hv a central o/h light over my mj table (i do on the downlights partially too during a game). Although the living rm & MBR are oso installed with a ceiling fan each, they c/w no light. The wind was quite strong initially (even at low speed; got medium & high too) but it is getting weaker over time (understand it's the problem with the remote control unit??) but i'm fine with medium speed now. I did a repair of the living rm fan (model FFM6000 5-blade 48") c/w a new remote control unit recently & it's very strong now! (The fans were installed in Jun 2012.)

    Wat a collection of pics of nice homes u hv there! Can really feel all the excitement in u liao! (Can c u hv a 'fetish' for legged animals.. err.. i mean furniture.. haha!) Hv u two gotten an ID? 贵有贵做 便宜有便宜做.. hope he/she is able to tranform the shoebox into a ur dream home! It's all about ideas & 功力 ya!

    Good progress! Haha, we chose the same wall tiles for our MBR toilets except that u got a mix of both the black- and lighter-based tiles. I did up everything in the lighter-based one. Ya quite like the effect.. Talk about plastering, it looked flawless but I find the surface kinda soft & susceptable to accidental hits (causing tiny dents on them). Paint oso seems not to fuse very well on them. Over time, some roughness will show too (mayb becos the base walls of our old flats are after all rough like orange peel) Well, hope mine is an isolated case lor & urs will still remain nicer than ur skin in many years to come.. kekeke..

    Oh.. looks like more small hicups for u... Ya was very scared too when i was asked to choose my colours (for just about everything) becos i'm... well, color-blinded (medically certified!).. Haha! So i jus gave the general direction & left it to my ID to propose.. at least not happy can blame him mah! Haha!

Ur 3-rm layout is not the more common ones that we've seen ard, although all are abt the same age (20-30 y.o; mine's abt 28 y.o when I bou it last year). Looking forward to ur updates & pics! PS. Care to share which area of Moulmein-Kallang (my guess is Whampoa or St George area.. hee hee)? Mine's not too far away.. still an opposition state before GE2011..
