  1. not sure about yours. but i don't find the price is cheaper in JB.
  2. yes. my electrician will install for me. cause he don't want me to touch on his cabling, although i know how to do it. yes, i'm rewiring my whole house and will be tested by the electrical engineer. anyway, i don't really recommend him as he is a bit yaya.
  3. i bought mine sensa 5 (v60wk) for RM580 from tun aminah...
  4. oic... yeah. the incoming cable will be changed too. so, does the lew just test the incoming to the DB only or the whole wiring (from incoming to the end point)?
  5. Hi Bro and Sis, I'm going to rewire my whole HDB unit, my contractor added a test perform by PUB and charge me $250. So, does the electrical testing is necessary after rewire the whole HDB unit? thanks in advance..
  6. i saw water heater switch selling at RM14 in JB.
  7. you can visit nippon website here.
  8. just pay the 7% GST if the value is more than $150/person. i'm also going to paint my old 5-room flat. based on my calculation, i need 6 cans of 5 ltr to paint my whole house, including the ceiling. still, buy from JB is cheaper than sg, provided you have car to go in jb.
  9. think you can get from any hardware shop in JB that selling nippon paint. i guess nippon paint has the price control and the price difference is about rm10/5ltr at most at different shop, at least the shops near my place in nusa bestari.
  10. bro, JB is the cheapest place compare to SG. i bought mine 6cans of 5 liter nippon odorless aircare (seems better than the odorless premium all-in-1) at rm120/5lt, while sg selling the odorless premium all-in-1 at ~S$80.
  11. to add on to bro catfish.. dun drill on the beam.
  12. the answer is JB. i saw it selling at RM500+ only, if i not remember wrongly, it is below RM550. the shop some more is not those shop selling appliances with cheap price. i saw the same model in jalan besar two weeks ago, the price is S$445.
  13. toshiba maybe the most expensive brand among MIT, pana, daikin, fuji, etc. but that is just about $100-$200 different for a system 3 aircon, which normally cost around $3k. so, i don't mind the extra if it really reliable and durable. i've ordered a toshiba system 3 during last gain city expo, but have not installed yet, wait after my home renovation done. the sales guys saying the parts is made in japan. bla bla bla... anyway, my current toshiba system 1 non-inverting aircon still working good. the aircon is left by the last owner and i've used it for 2 years without any servicing, just clean the filter only. so, it gives me a good impression of its reliability and hassle free, and that's why i still stick to buy toshiba aircon.
  14. no really difficult if r not using very fancy tap. last time, i juz bought a tap frm hardware shop n change it myself. of cos u need the correct tool to change it, which normally can be bought frm hardware shop too.
