I was never into fengshui, know nuts about it yet I engaged a FSM. My mental state when I made that decision? Not very good. It was more out of apprehension over house purchase decision and wishing everything will be smooth and that I will be less confused. My current sentimment? If you are a fengshui believer, great. If you are not and is someone like me, out of the blue decided to give fengshui a go - possibly out of apprehension, DON'T START! In all honesty, I am not sure if it helps if you are already looking into this fengshui/geomancy thread ... Again I am sharing only my personal perspectives and not meant to offend anyone or get into a debate. I have nothing against fengshui and for something to last for centuries and people keep going into it, there must be some truth somewhere in it? But why I say don't start? 1. Once you started, if you don't follow 100%, you don't feel good (felt dumb in fact, why pay money and not to follow everything it says). The cynical thoughts are there : If all turns well, FSMs will say cos they are good. If it turns out not well, FSMs will say 'cos you never follow entirely the instructions given. 2. Once you read up more, you get even more confused. One way to overcome is trust 100% the FSM you engage and don't do your own research. Otherwise you will notice discrepancies - bound to have 'cos then I learnt fengshui has different schools of thoughts? As a layman, simple expectation is also ... sigh. a. House readings - depends on which school? b. Reno date and move in date - even different fengshui websites sources indicate different auspicious dates (before taking into account horoscopes and bazis). c. Reno & Move in ceremonial rituals - also filled with ambiguities and range from simplest to the complex and honestly, some downright ridiculous in my view. 3. Fengshui is NOT cheap. First you pay for house audit, then you pay for the fengshui items, and then have someone to tell you not necessary to have them. I tried to look for fengshui "success" stories, ended up they are either FSM endorsements (I am not saying they are not genuine) or hearsay ie fengshui works for my who and who. To sum up? I am just a frustrated FSM newbie.

Less expensive - can, my fsm rep will tell u why not as effective. 3.5k is ID customised & floor size (should be bigger than your 700 one?) but no I did not sign up with him. dry ice effect. those water feature shops will know. where to get? I dont know still. One of the IDs quoted me 3.5k to customise! I been only to the one in upper serangoon but did not find the size and the designs I like. For the other bigger water feature companies, they mostly cater to outdoor not indoor. In fact I like those designs at the florist shops better though table top size and much cheaper. I am near to give up liao 'cos of maintenance upkeep and the specific position seem to compromise safety. & like above - place wrong becomes worse looks like.

I personally prefer 1 bowl too 'cos easier to accommodate the pots and pans washing ;-p

THANKS for your advice. I had an online chat with the sales rep. I had to edit this post the THIRD time now. 1st time chat she replied Sellena is Kraus. 2nd time chat she replied Sellena not the same as Kraus but of HIGHER quality. When I asked further why website description listed Kraus which is misleading, she said Sellena is OEM of Kraus. Goodness, so quality should be SAME lah! Full of ambiguities and not sure if it's due to English communication skill. Though I must say I am impressed that the online chat response is fast and is still available near 11 pm! MY DECISION: NO GO. Too risky for the amount to be paid and for a not Kraus brand. Any idea if those in Amazon comes with full installation kits eg overflow trap and bottle trap etc etc?
