jus sharing info.. i went to hong kwang last week.. bought a 6" KDK 15WUD for $53.50 after GST.. was quoted by Henry.. n he told me he only hv contacts to do the electrical installation.. for $80.. but no contact to intro me for doing the windows.. really hv to thanks to this thread.. n intro by MACE.. at least i got a fan reasonably priced.. oh.. n thanks to binzz's intro.. got contact to change my windows at $100 each.. will b meeting them for measurements on coming wed! yoohoo!

mine is a 85sqm 4rm.. yes.. mine jus a sys3 for the 3 bedrooms only.. living area no need.. cos my unit is windy in the day time if i open all windows in kitchen n living room.. only during the night time.. wind come from "the back" meaning only kitchen windows n aircon ledge windows got the wind.. so a standing fan in the living room should b enough when evening time..

oh thank you! i got 1 6" fan already.. now need to do the window n installation.. n jus wonder how come my ID only managed to help me get approval on master bedroom toilet only.. sigh..

urgent help needed... applefreak, MACE, please please please.. any contractor to intro me.. for changing the toilet louvre window to 1 piece glass n cut a hole on it to fit a 6" ventilation fan? HomeGuide charging me for changing ONE window for $300.. connecting to the light point for $80... total $380!!! for jus 1 window!! i feel it is so expensive! i thought i read from the ventilation fan thread.. abt $200+ to change both windows liao.. did i mis-read anything? if anyone hv contacts.. yesterday 1st day of carpentry installations.... at nite when i went up take a look.. i was super hyper stress.. cos the STUPID IDIOT inside me made a BIG FOOLISH mistake right from the beginning.. i THOUGHT my kitchen cabinet all hinges n everything will b upgraded to Blum System.. i was WRONG! the upgrade was only applied to the drawer track.. sigh................................................................................... n my mom's wardrobe....... the side is NOT STRAIGHT at all! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! already told Lance.. n he said he'd add a soft closing thing on the kitchen cabinet for those casement doors.. there shall not b any slamming.. dunno how true.. shall see... i'm very stressed n disappointed.. but wat to do? jus the STUPID ME.. who can i blame? i'm the only 1 to be blamed.. for my mom's wardrobe.. ya.. Lance said must apply permit.. n ID hv the responsibility to apply for u.. or unless u r really putting the ventilation fan totally inside the toilet.. ventilation fan works like the cooker hood.. if u believe in it n use it correctly.. it is supposedly to help u speed up the "drying" of ur bathroom frm all the vapours that produced during bath.. even if u shower with cold water.. there bound to be vapours cos of our own body heat.. that is y even with the windows open during bath.. once u step out of ur bathroom u'd usually notice a difference in temperatures.. n i hate tat humid feeling.. another factor.. since it "sucks out" the air.. when poo poo times.. toilets can b odour free much faster.. haha.. but may b my immediate neighbours will suffer? hahahahaa.. oops!
