Ok, for all who are interested.

I got my glowtapes from the Arts and Friends shop in Bras Basah.

Also, I got the PIR sensor that can be directly added to any lamp in a basement shop Sim Lim Tower.

Basically, the PIR sensor cuts off the power to the lamp. When it senses movement, it will "allow" power to go to the lamp thereby activating it.

Can't remember the shop's name. Its one of the bigger corner shop at the basement. You can identify it by the many LED flashing lights. I'm planning to get 2 more units from him.

hi, can you advise how much did it cost you and if it works well?

I thought of getting motion-sensor-light initially as well but eventually decided to get this...

Philips LED Candles

the LED light fickles like a candle and its not too bright so perfect for walking around in the dark with the lights off. Also, it doubles up as nice candle light display without the hassle of an actual candle. !!
