yeap that's what i posted the same too at yr link...dun buy so early..you need to "ren" endure!! TV prices sure drop like shxx ya i have been dropping by the fairs to learn abt the tv and understand the specs of the tv, how to use etc and also to know what they throw in..so at least you know what you can bargain when you buy the tv hehehhe

ha not kiasu la..i know that kind of excitement feeling that you have and wanted to buy for yr own house.. good deals can grab..if the stores allow to keep for you till may june that's gd.. yr tv dun buy so early..cos prices kept dropping...try keep electrical items to buy perhaps like 3 weeks before yr flat is ready, the price difference is really huge.. example i was sourcing for a samsung fridge that was around dec 2012..price was like $1399 i bought the same brand of fridge in March 2013..price dropped to $999!

i saw the introduction of LG tv during the electronic fair and was quite stunned by the functions available..it was a 3D SMart TV so somehow fulfiled what i wanted.. i went to LG's website..do not have 44", next category after 42" will be 47" http://www.lg.com/sg/tvs/all-tvs

though living room looks bigger...but there are space contraints! sofa wise will place quite near..therefore cannot get too big..also if too big cannot fit into the feature wall...also gd la..dun buy too big..save $$$ hehehe

i always wanted Samsung...but no 42 inch so drop the idea and switch to LG ha SMART Tv $970...this is 2D to 3D conversion hehe expensive? last heard selling at the electronic fair around $980 if i am not wrong..... LG sound bar..comes with the subwoofer it matches the TV LG together as a set hahaha so i bought this as the sound quite solid for me ..bought at $550 its a new model just released not long ago as mentioned by the sales guy
