actually i think for newer flats the walls are not as thick as the old flats...so any knocking or even scrubbing can generate alot of noise at the other side.... anyway reno is like dat one...everyday hack hack hack drill drill drill hammer hammer hammer left right center...below and side unit cannot tahan one...but since itz approved by govt they cannot say anything mah...but come to evening time they see times up they will call police lah complain lah...very common one lah...hopefully the neighbours are ok when u move in...some bare grudges then later go more problem....

yup yup datz the one...they provide the tap also...but i dun quite like the idea leh...got additional tap muz install and the tap they showed me like not very nice leh.. so was thinking get the Tami dispenser and jiap them together...i very vain wan lah haha...but so ex cos the diamond water thingy will cost about $2k liao... then somemore my wife also wanna buy the diamond spa water for bathing the whole diamond spa thing also look but according to my wife the water come out very good for the skin... haha...drink drink drink...maybe u can send some bottles to ur relatives also haha...

Hello CRYSTALNG... thanx very much for ur kind comments... the id/contractor charged me $1080 for the 3 laminate finish doors with metal strip...but that is excluding the door frame...my id/contractor got the carpentry guys to fabricate wan...cos i specifically wanted this colour and pattern and cannot find it in any catalogue..then he say cheaper to fabricate loh....i can help u ask my id/contractor if he got do changing of the doors only anot... *** juz called my id/contractor he say he can do...but price slightly higher cos my one is a whole package thing..he say the price will be around $450 to $550 per door excluding door frame...and he also say if u guyz wanna add glass itz at no addtional cost...so if u guyz interested let me know i pass u his contact... haha..thanx for ur kind comments shmi... hello wtg54, as above..the door is solid wan...but not the very very heavy type wan

Hello tim_chenie progress looks good! one thing tho...the kitchen ceiling where there is plastering over it...this one... have u checked whether itz spalling or above neighbour dun have waterproof? cos hoh...if itz either one later on the plaster will still drop leh... spalling muz ask contractor to dig out all the affected parts then apply anti-rust chemical to the metal strips inside the ceiling...then replaster... if above neighbour no waterproof siong...muz share cost with the neighbour above to waterproof his floor...yeah sounds stupid..but this is HDB regulation... anyway juz check with u see u already check anot...

Day 30 of reno...pics taken juz now... Shoe cabinet not installed yet... study room cabinet...half way there... main door...not painted yet... laminate flooring in the rooms done...the doors also fixed up...itz all in walnut colour...ut the pics make it look so dark... tiling outside masterbedroom toilet...the leafy design one... masterbedroom platform done... light in the masterbedroom and guest room... light in the study room... kitchen cabinets halfway there... feature wall done up... electrical guys fixing up the rest of the lighting... and finally...........a preview man do they work fast....

hello tim_chenie... i dunno how much the pebblewash area leh...becos wat happened wat the whole quotation never include the pebblewash..then when choosing tiles that time our id/contractor ask us wan to do for the entrance area anot...my wife like it so she said ok...so exactly how much i also dnno loh...itz all included in the flooring for the living area... actually i dun have the droping pebble issue lah...juz dat im paranoid loh...see other members pebblewash drop haha...hopefully dun anyhow drop until botak haha...

it is an offense not to change the NRIC's address for more then 14 days after u move out from the old address...but so far like never see enforcement action on this issue being publicized b4... i also agree that the ex-owner should get another address ready at the completion and change their address at HDB...all govt agencies mah..Police station can change surely can do something to change at HDB itself...and make it compulsory to do so...my hse the ex-owner also never change...cos i recieve his reservist letter, call him to talk to him dun wanna pick up...now i also scared...

yah the darker lighter tone issue bo bian wan...cun possibly ask the guy to choose carefully the individual pebbles colour and lay...got pebbles drop out anot? one of my tiles inside the pebblewash kena chip 2 small lobang after laying the pebblewash.... !!
