  1. Wow, i got a neighbour here!! U live at which floor? I'm from Blk 22. My hubby is driving, but not me. I take MRT to work. He usually reach home before 7pm after work, by then he usually ends up parking at the 1st floor level (one level above the MSCP ground floor). If those ppl who work in town also buy season parking coupons, then its more challenging for us to find good parking lots already. We are always target to park at ground floor. But its usually often mission impossible P/s: I noticed that there's always a beige colour van which is forever parking at the same parking lot at ground floor MSCP everyday since day 1 i moved into my new house (4mths already). It doesn't drive away, doesn't move...it just keeps renew its season coupon...... Yea, there's a new coffeeshop, theres also a banner hang out at the "Tiong Bahru Court" area. Spotted it yesterday when driving by. Haven't tried it though, cos its still a distance away even though its just 1 school + 1 block away. It takes around 6-8 mins+ to walk there Any good recommandable stalls there? I also intend to give it a try by these few days. Try to know people from Central Green? Good idea, haha. But this is the most expensive condo in the area, and its those super rich people. Difficult to get close to them, need to find a way.. Perhaps just bride the security guard
  2. Luckily my area is not meant to cater for 9 blocks of flats. Else everyday after work, its gonna be a stressful thing for people who drive ~ finding parking lots.... My area MSCP is cater for around ~5 blocks...kekeke
  3. I think maybe not much ppl own cars around my Blk area, cos infront of my multi-storey carpark is the MRT. But when it comes to weekend (esp Sun), some cars filled up to my floor level .. (cos its for mainly non-season parking). Your neighbours there seemed rich, alot of ppl own cars...
  4. My unit (3rd floor) also facing a six floor multi-storey carpark. I believe that there's always a certain distance from the multi-storey carpark to your house. Its not really that bad as in the car headlight is able to shine into the house. I find that its ok leh.... Perhaps part of the reason is very little or no car are parking at my floor level..cos most of the cars are parking at Basement and ground floor ..
  5. Anyone knows where to buy the MoldDuck which was posted earlier on the 1st page? Been searching high and low at NTUC leh, cannot find. My toilet basin has those ugly patches of black colour mold which formed at the white ceramic plaster (which connect the basin towards the toilet wall). I always have a hard time scrubbing it off....and it just kept coming back whenever the area is wet. Secondly, what kind of detergent is best to clean and scrub off the soap and water stain at the shower screen? My shower screen looked so disasterous now.
  6. Thanks, its just simple reno only cos we didn't engage ID, its only main contractor. My reno cost me around ~25K. The clipsal switch is only good when it comes to night time, cos its easier to locate for the switches due to the LED light If i'm not wrong, the clipsal neo switches (including heater switch, phone socket, power socket) cost around ~$500 for the entire house. My MasterBedRm toilet vanity top do not have concrete support. Only my kitchen sink has the concrete support. Hmm, having concrete sink support has its own cons and pros. Advantage is it can definitely last. Disadvantage is u need to find matching homo tiles to blend in well with your kitchen laminate, so that it won't look so concrete and ugly. Initially i also wanted my MasterBedroom toilet to have the concrete support too, but we wanted suspense vanity top. So we have to give up have concrete support. To make it last longer, i insisited for the vanity cabinet door to be those type of outdated ugly aluminium PVC sliding door, at least it can last longer
  7. I didn't get it cheap from the Feb WIS either I only know Blk 22 is beside blk 23. I don't know where is Blk 21 Mine house design is quite simple, no much fanciful decor. Budget constraint Foyer http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1010129pd5.jpg Dining http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1010120hi0.jpg Dining Ceiling http://img261.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1010095pi4.jpg Living http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1010118aa1.jpg MBR http://img261.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1010103mg9.jpg MBR wardrobe http://img523.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1010105kv4.jpg U can go to my reno blog for more pics http://bbpp88.wordpress.com
  8. Mine is 5-room flat, 110sqm, low-floor. No choice, got it from the Feb WIS 07, all left low-floor
  9. Welcome neighbour, nice interior decor u have! I'm from Blk 22, just moved in less than 2mths ago
  10. I bought this Vacuum Cleaner somewhere on Oct at $280. Its quite a reasonably good vacuum cleaner whereby its not so noisy and the sucker power is good. No regrets buying this so far. It has been serving my house good.
  11. I also using the blum motion for my kitchen drawers...but somehow i feel that its quite difficult to pull out. U have to use abit of force to pull out the kitchen drawers. When it comes to pushing in, its ok, got the anti-slam effect. My contractor also charging me $60 for per pair of blum motion. The rest of my kitchen cabinets are using the soft hinges, which also have the anti-slam effects, but its not blum brand, cos too exp liao.
  12. U can try "Arts Living" at Furniture Mall. The price is consider reasonable, depending on your window length and the curtain material. I did a full length "Day-and-Night" curtain for both living room and MBR, and two roller blinds for the other two bedroom. It cost 1.2K. In addition i also did a string curtain for $100 at my MBR.
  13. Hmm, i'm not very sure if the bottom seat is also mesh or not. U can try take a look at their website ... www.u-plan.com.my but they also have a branch at Spore. That time i went to take a look and try out their chairs, rather comfy. But too bad, i'm very broke. End up i just bought a normal chair from Ikea
  14. Can try U-plan if u have the budget, they have good ergonomics computer chair. But its not cheap., that's why up till now, i still didn't buy, haha. It can cost a few hundred dollars for a good mesh material chair, but they are really comfy.
  15. Hi MaCe, spent close to $400. I bought it from Woodlands Choo Chiang. The prices are similar to like what renoGirl quoted.
