Will be having wedding lunch and due to time constraint and do not want to start too early, my sequence even simpler: 1. Go to wife's house 2. Serve tea to in-laws 3. Go for photoshoot (with bros and sis gang) 4. Go to hotel 5. Serve tea to my mother and my side relatives 6. Reception follow by lunch. Initially wanted it simpler. Check in hotel one day earlier and serve tea there for both sides parents and relatives. But bcos MIL want me to carry the golden pig to her place and wife's sister want to "tekan" me, so got to do the gate crash thing. Feel that as long as the sequence is communicated to both sides and all are ok, then should be fine. As what xinyi_reiko said, marriage is a happy occasion, we want to be happy and enjoy the day, so we are not too bothered with the sequence.

Even thou I am not too keen on such activities but do not really agree with your reasoning. There are some residents who enjoy such activities, and such activities also bring life and vigour to the neighbourhood too. Besides, as MP/grassroot leaders, you must be seen to be doing things to your constituency (be it upgrading, visits, parties etc etc) and not just appear once every 5 years for election. Anyway, will be there to take a look at the upgrading exhibition.

Not too keen on such visits too but just happy that the food centre will be upgraded. Probably just need some vip to announce it. Actually there was a funeral at Blk 90 during the block party.

Got the flyer on Law Minister Visit on 2 Nov. So happy to see that there are upgrading plans for the food centre and the surroundings.

Read Sat ST that Starbucks and Spineilli have decided to turn off this stupid dipper thing and changed to a dishwasher. I find it hard to believe when starbucks say they have been trying for years to think of an alternative system to the dipper. Is it really so difficult to wash the sppon after use? Anyway, my fav is still those $2-$3 set meal at coffeeshop that comes with coffee/tea, toast and half-boiled eggs.

Saw your chadeliers pics b4, should be able to change to those energy saving bulbs (shaped like candle). Can check out Megaman, Philips or even Ikea. We have a standing chandelier at home, changed to energy saving bulbs (7W each) from Ikea.

Si beh waste water leh. Why not just wash the spoon after use instead of letting it soak under running water. Maybe thats why they charge such exhorbitant price for their coffee/beverages . Anyway, never been a fan of starbuck or coffeebean. Still prefer my traditional kopitiam kopi anytime!
