Hi Gurus here, I am about to renovate a resale 3 room flat. Can someone guide me on where to start. An ID and a contractor, any different? Must I sent the floor plan to many company for quotations? Although I am doing a lot of research recently, but Renotalk is always the first place to seek infos. Any kind people, please do guide me. TIA

Hi I am looking for a trust able company to renovate a resale 3 room buying in months time. I have this budget of 35 k must be including electrical works, rewiring, shifting and adding electrical points. No other hidden costs . From my last reno experience, I have encountered very bad experience, so this time I will want to be frank in all dollars & cents. Any contractor or ID in a reputable company with a website kindly pm , thank you. Any other inputs are most welcome.

Common friend ... this is Singapore!!!! Report, Call the Newspaper, Stomp etc etc We are protected by laws. Common!

If this is the case, why bother to wait for them? Always remember, $$$ is in our pocket....... there are loads of companies in Singapore, boycott!

I always wondering. If to renovate a house without an ID, is it much cheaper. If we have our own ideas, theme and design, just show to the contractor and they will do the rest? And all quotations from the Reno company, is it inclusive of the ID or we have to pay them separately? Experts please advise.

Hi all friends, can I know, if I were to renovate my coming flat ( resale ), I know I can go "shopping" for many Renovation company quotations to compare. Can I pass all the quotation for every companies that I visit to view and offer? Is this method very rude? I always think the first quote will not always be the cheapest. I mean by using all similar materials, work, design etc...... more quotations at least I have more choice. And I know ID and contractors do not like people like me but with a small budget, I will do it this way. Kindly advise because this is the first time I am renovating my house.
