Hi, what is the 3rd broom/mop thing used for?

Hi darthmax, I bought it at Jun Ho Electric Pte Ltd: Block 5069 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 #01-1543/1545 Singapore 569572 Tel: 6483 2040 Actually, you can also contact any of the distributors in LeGrand's website : http://www.legrand.com.sg/special-pages/misc/where-to-buy/singapore/ As not every distributor carry the same items, you might want to call them to check before you go.

Woah. That is a lot of points. Do you mean you are charged a flat fee, regardless of any number of datapoints? If that is the case, do consider installing datapoints and power points in the ceiling for IP cameras. You may need these when you have a baby and/or maid.

I bought a Legrand wireless doorbell, for $25. The shopkeeper told me that they supply this LeGrand doorbell to Home Fix who then sells it for $30+. What I like about this doorbell is that the "speaker" can be plugged into a power socket. I will not need to change battery. image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr

Living room TV console Doors are being fitted onto the living room TV console. All the space in the TV console are accessible and usable. This will provide alot of storage for me. image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr M1 has installed the ONT. We have signed up for its fibre broadband package during the IT show in end Feb 14. image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr Louvre door will be fitted on the TV console where the IT equipment are housed. I have similar louvre doors in my MBR TV console.

More MBR carpentry is up! Here's my TV console, shelves (under the window recessed area) and study table. I have positoned the study table to face the pond. I will only be able to see the sky though when I sit at the study desk. In the TV console, louvre doors are used for the compartments housing IT equipment such as DVD player. I love how the carpentry laminate matches the parquet floor. Jay (my ID) really has very good colour sense. image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr The MBR wardrobe is done. image by Harriette_Tan, on Flickr

Hi kstoh, I'm using alot of ikea's stuff in my EM. The biggest risk is the Ikea kitchen. As for Ikea Pax wardrobes and Billy bookcases, I have quite a number in my current 5-room flat. Back then, I had opted for ikea due to tight budget. I have used them for 6 years and they are still doing well. Hence for my new EM, I have opted for ikea's wardrobes and Billy bookcases in 3 bedrooms. I have not used Besta before. Jay (my ID) has a wall of Besta shelves in his house and he has no problem with them. Jay actually attempted to design a TV console using Besta cabinets for me, but it didn't work.

Carpentry works This is my MBR wardrobe. The wardrobe frames is built according to the size of IKEA Pax frame (50cm wide) so that we can use IKEA wire baskets and clothes bar. To save money, we are only doing built-in carpentry for the MBR. The other 3 bedrooms will have IKEA wardrobes and bookcases. We are also not very certain about how we will use the other 3 rooms, so it is better not to have fixed built-in furniture.

Carpentry works This is the upstairs foyer. I love how the carpentry laminate matches the toilet wall tiles, as well as how the black railing matches the black doorframe. This is Jay's credit. This is a pantry where we will make milk. We would not want to go downstairs to make milk in the wee wee hours. The big empty space at the bottom is meant for a bar fridge. I had bought the bar fridge to store my breast milk when I was breastfeeding. Similar to the shoe cabinet design, there is space to hold the irobot roomba beneath the cabinet. Here is a look at the internal of the bookcase: To maximise storage, we even have cabinets along the staircase:

Carpentry works 2 big pieces of wood were added to the sides of the island: To re-cap, we hope to achieve an island which looks like this: We can now get the Ikea's solid surface sub-contractor to come and install the solid surface for the kitchen. Here is the shoe cabinet. We have opted for it to be half-height so as to make the EM more open and breezy. The tall vertical compartments are meant for umbrellas. Here is the view of the shoe cabinet from the kitchen: The space beneath the shoe cabinet is meant to hold the irobot roomba (or other brand). This is the idea:

Carpentry works Previously, the ikea kitchen cabinets were up. Here's a re-cap: Now the TV console is up. An extension from the TV console wraps around the adjacent kitchen cabinet. The extension is a partition wall which will hold powerpoints for the kitchen side. Here is the view from the kitchen. The empty space is meant for the dishwasher. Here is the view from the front door:

That is nice. I can't fit a WIW in my MBR. [quote name="celeste11" post="846705" timestamp= Hi Harriette, On paper wise the room seems quite spacious with the wiw.. On site we tape the floor to see how it will turn out.. not too bad.. But for the bed wise we will not be able to reuse our teak wood bed frame and have to get something more streamline instead. But still able to fit a king with 2 sides table.. And the walking space in the WIW, we have about i think 800mm so we can still change comfortably within it... Between my master bedroom size is 3.8m x 4.5m
