for Instant Heater wise, brands like 707 defintely is an branded and can last for 10 years as it's local brand , price wise also cost higher than others as it is really worth for it. JOVEN & MISTRAL also another good selection for heater as they are pro in instant heater..............ALPHA or AMASCO is a new brand in the market and their core business is CEILLING FANS not instant heater and that's why 10 years warranty given and selection for instant heater is based on its realibility and sales after service, for ALPHA instant heater, if you pay attention of its surface, u will notice Scratches................................i am not sabotage ALPHA...just share with your guys my expericene with ALPHA........

can try FUJIOH (BIG BURNERs come along with inner frame fire), HOBZ (with 2 years warranty given,1 year for spare parts & free servicing for one year) or Rinnai (price wise will be higher than Fujioh, so far it's ok).....if comparison, lifespan for hob & hood will last for 5- 8 years as according test conducted. If can last for 2 decades like ARISTON ( 20 years ago) i think .........all the sanitary shops going to close down........

DO not ever apply acid on BLACK TILES, it will worse the situation only....may i know the surace of the tiles...Contractors always use ACID for the final Solution...there are two ways to solve the problems. Firstly, clean the surface of the tiles, apply the KIWI (cream that used to polish leather shoe) to darker /blacker the surface of the tiles...as Kiwi, itself is black n oily, the liquied will dip into the surface of the tiles, That's the best way...... second, or u can use ANWAY metal cleaner to clean the white lines..................... However, kindly check the surface of the tiles before u decide to use which method........... p/s:kindly take note, Black Tiles always encounter with problems when ACID is applied on its surface.........esp from CHINA MADE and i truly believe that the black tiles that u selected it's from China, which tiles shop that u get ur tiles (Lian Seng Hin, Hafary or Soon Bee Huat)

Cuizino is the brand from Italy, currently production line from China, no 100% from Italy............not so popular in the market as compare to Rinnai & Fujioh, can giv it a try...for Fujioh (highly recommend, as service side, very effecient to solve the problem)

HIGHlLY recommend FUjioh, HOBZ, RINNAI....no matter 2 burners, 3 burners in tempered glass or safety valve...Japan Brand /Singapore Brand/ their common is ALL from CHINA as well...however sales after service is GOOD...Rinnai is famous of inner fame with is gas SAVING, Fujioh is strong with cooker hoob while Hobz itself is outstanding with its 2 years warrantly.....(1year spare parts ,1 years free servicing )

Hobz is Singapore local brand. It's just like other hob & Hood, just not different but it's quite new in the market not more 10 years history in Singapore. Their Unique is with 2 years warranty ( 1 years warranty for spart parts & 1 year for Free Servicing). Sales After Service....Good ...no harm to consider about it... if compare to Fujioh, Rinnai, or other brands...all the same (From CHINA as well) . No harm let u know where's production place..

White Horse Tiles also come from China.....esp Homo Tiles (60x60cm) if comparable to China...not able to compete in the market....However if you want the lastest designs, more selection and modern looks ...most proberly only China tiles able to fulfill this kind of requirements...certain tiles shop like Soon Bee Huat,Hafary ...u can consider to dropby there to have a view, u can select tiles from there by viewing their showflat.For Homogeneous Tiles select for Living Area, is advisable to select matt finishing type rather than glossy surface...for long term consideration ..as normal glossy homo tiles from China easily absorb the stains. but if insist on glossy type,can choose the anti-stain homo tiles (however only can last for several years no idea as this is a new tech applied ) and market in the local in year 2008. Nowadays 90 % of tiles in SIngapore is using China-made.

direct look for the polisher, Ah Siong (9022 3508) he is Malaysian and quite experienced in this line esp polishing for marble and homogeneous tiles. Highly recommended him..........pm me if you want to know more....no harm to give it a try..............

u can get it for $130.00 at Universal Union at Geylang Road....and can be cheaper if u bargain the price with them however normally it cost less than $150 n installation just cos about $25-$30. however u still can get it from the hardware shop..............

as seen now lots of renovation firms having their promotion now in order to attract house owners, but only will we 20-30% reduct on the whole renovation cost as labour cost is fixed one.........

call to Unversal Union and ask them for the recommedation of the plumber, i know this boss well and they are considerd resposible shop.....

dun mind to share with me where did u get from and encouter such an unhappy things, can drop by to the shop and argue with them or the boss ?????

i have posted a guiline for those who is looking for good and responsible contractors, no harm to have a look..........now lots of renovation firms having promotions to atrract house owners and since times is bad and affecting their business....no harm to have a look and drop by their showroom...if you are interested, can drop by IMM and tradehub 21 at Jurong area...however certain renovation firms need to take care of it...........

in IMM, u can drop by GPlan, Spacious Planners to look for Winnie see whether she able to help u with your budget. or U-HOME with the promotion package as well.Certain Id firms like WeiKen, Future Home or Inner View ,A WIN.....Piece of my advice think twice .................. or else u still can look for SAMUEL LIM from Love Home Interior Design, he used to work for G Plan, he is quite responsible person n easy-going person as well. or Flora Wong also from G Plan as well however she already start her own business...a good friend of me as well from City Harvest Church....or else look for Andrew from Designer Guy, contractor type based company but it a responsible and good person as well......................within your budget.... p/s pm me if you want to know more...........these recomemendations are based on i know their personality n i

YEAH..i am agree as well never ever make the payment in CASH....recently lots of renovations firms now is in cash flow problems same things happens to Ids and contractors as well.BEWARE when they ask u guys to make 30% deposit when u sign up with them.....normally is 10% for the deposit........

how come ?? normally Id will pass a copy of time schedule for the whole renovation period and the process so that houseowners are clearly with the process while payment will be collected on certain stage as well.For your case, i think u better talk to your ID again. Such things happen to you when u engaged with Earnest ??? if you are not use, look for James Lim, boss of the Ernest Interiors and he will look into your case, dun mind if you feel no so sure about it

Kewin, pls take note that i already posted a message at this forum to warm newbie that STILES DESENO INTERIORS PTE LTD is closed down last FRIDAY after the operation hours of IMM .if u sign up with them....u only lose your money.............now lots of ppl espcially house owners,suppliers and sub-cons is hunting for the boss. QUEK TIAN SENG ....heard that he is trying to set up a new company at WOODLANDS AREA. !!!! i already posted in this forum but seems it is banned by the forumer in order to let other ppl aware of it..... p/s i am not try to badmouthing STILES DESENO, IF YOU want to know, can check with others ID firms at IMM and u will get the answer there..................

yeah..*** Design currently is running by Alex Wee...so far i can say he is a good person and quite responsible ppl...never never heard complaints from house owners...just have disputes with his ex-partner.He used to work for *spam* Design

are u referring the *spam* located at Balestier Road .........??? they used to be at IMM however there is another *spam* consultant at toa payoh afterwards change to *** design, due to disputes occurs between the two partners..

nowadays those so called anti-stain homo tiles (high gloss series ) is better than the normal homo tiles as the layer of the tiles already laid with another layer of protection in order to prevent the stain dip into it.. pretty sure that it's much more expensive than normal tiles, normally u can find it at the range of 3.30 per sqft is considered a good quality homo..if u want, can drop by Soon Bee Huat behind IMM to have a look or u can direct deal with the tiles shop..u will save more money on it....pm me if you are interested regarding city..and recently there is a renovation firm at IMM called STILES DESENO just closed down last week...due to insufficient fund to pay for the rental and inproper of management.....just take note it...as i already posted in this forum to remind other ppl ...

directly look for the carpentry and solve your problem immediately.interested can loo for Mr.Lau from Metal & Wood General Contractor, (9742 5965)....however knewing that too many of recommendations..decision is up to u...no harm to give it a try..

if you felt that u still not very satisfy with the service provided from the ID, piece of advice pls direct contact with Mr.Gordon Leong or Kenny Leong.Definetly they will look into your case and will give you a good answer for both parties and G PLAN's reputation is already built up so famous and hot like cake.....just be fair for both parties......everything's can be solve in peaceful way.However i have a good impression for the IDs from G Plan..maybe due to certain ppl who is irresponsiple..............
