  13. Dear all I am back to update on my progress Renovating is so tiring Especially for me who is very kan chong Wanna do it fast Anyway i met up with about 4 contractors, Ah Huatt, Mr Yeak, another contractor/id recommended by alan26 and Yellow boots contractor recommended by jaskel Ah Huatt quotes too high, Ah Soon never come to view my house. Mr Yeak schedule is tight and we have a lean budget After much consideration on hacking and retiling and how much inconveniences, we decided to take up the sediment spraying on the wall tiles and other reno items I will try to keep my budget within 10K (including buying sanitary and electrical stuff) I will post up some pictures for forumers to view and see if there is any impact Here are the list of items that we have decided to do: Kitchen: Sediment Spray on Wall Alter Kitchen Cabinet to install Cooker and Hood ( the top one) Add 1 more decor light (hanging) at the table area Plaster wall and ceiling Living Room Platform Add 1 more decor light (hanging) at the dining table Wall paper for the wall at the tv console area Master Bedroom L shape Box Cove lights with 8 points Plaster the wall and ceiling Wall Paper to 1 wall Master Bedroom Toilet Sediment Spray to Wall Change Sanitary Add Shower Screen Manage to do some saving by going direct to KDK for installation as my contractor quoted me $660 for changing window and install fan, and going to this golden city (as i read in this forum) wall paper This week was **** tired, spent a lot of cabs, going from Jurong to Balestier (to buy wc, basin) tot can buy cheaper after reading renotalk forumers sharing their experience...in the end also spend a bit on accessories Lights wise, we were tired ...just went to Jurong East to buy, didnt bargain ....a bit regreted now Total Cost => Contractor- 7.5K (May subject to changes) KDK Fan_> $400 Wall Paper-> 800 Lightings (2 Hanging Lights, 2 wall Lights, 2 bedroom Lights -> 630) WC, Basin, Accessories, Cooker Hoob -> 1400 Washer cum Dryer LG-> 900 New Study tables and cabinet from V Hive -> $770 TOTAL COST DAMAGES at the moment => abt 12K Hope the minor reno will make an impact to my existing home Btw, my house is balinese, zen style as i like resort feeling ,,,relaxed Any forumers with same theme to share ? Thank You
