I guess the reason for putting a mirror should be that the current main door direction is not suitable for YG and wife and to put a mirror is to reflect the direction to the opposite direction which is more favorable for them..

Hey, this is our other shortlisted floor tiles when we were doing our selection, but give it up due to $0.20 difference.. Cos our package price only allowed us to choose homo tiles up to $3.00, but when we shortlisted the $3.60 & $3.80 ones, after much bargaining, our ID agreed to absorb $0.60 for us but not $0.80.. Now looking at your tiles, wa sooooooooooooo nice leh...

No la, ours really not much stuff till like can feature as showflat.. haha.. Normally pple reno for $50k-$unlimitedK then will be able to be featured, see magazines all is like those prices one.. For mirror, actually, u can insist on 1 full pc, sometimes maybe abit more expensive, ID opt to go break them to small pieces.. Somemore our place linked to the multi-storey carpark, dun have to worry on not being able to fit into the lift entrance..

Was reading Mace t-blog when i came across this. The uncle who install my mum's rinnai stainless steel hob told her to clean by pouring a bit of CLEAN VEGETABLE OIL on the paper kitchen toliet roll (err, u know, the long tissue used in kitchen???) and clean the hob.. And surprisingly, it works and its not oily at all.. The stainless steel return to its shiny state after a heavy cooking session.. !! Ooops, i think abit wrong time to add in my post! !!

Thanks moonbell.. So far we are rather pleased with the renovation, some minor hiccups here and there, but luckily my ID very easy going and easy to talk to.. We got no theme for our house, but after renovation, we found out that our house only have 4 colours tones, white, brown, black and silver.. Also, we have lots of lines around the house.. As for shoe cabinet, we scrape away the original idea of putting it in front of the door due to fengshui purposes.. !! The shoes will have to find another home which we are now having a headache for it.. Otherwise, they will stay inside the bomb shelter.. haha.. For the sliding door, we did not shift any thing. They just built the door with a space.. see pic below.. Sure jacky, pm your no. when i open house i let you know.. Sure, but recently, we only able to go down to our house late at night.. Sat also, last night we reached at 6+ but able to enter by around 8pm.. Renovation is soooo tiring.. But seein how the empty house evolved into our home, its sure worth it.. !! The yellow spots are marking to the the person drilling the toliet accessories where we want to put and which item should be there.. Cos we are unable to take leave during weekday, like tat easier mah.. mark at the exact spot..

Some carpentry updates, our tv feature wall waiting to be sprayed .. The kitchen waiting for the backsplash, solid tabletop and replacement of blum drawers.. New addition to the kitchen, a side cabinet to cover the water heater.. A vent at the side of the cabinet to ventilate the gas heater.. Guess what is this???

Hey nemofc, Sorry, yesterday cannot meet you, the workers only left around 7+ i guess, cos we reached there at 6+ and they were still there.. We went back to our house again on 8pm then work there till near 11pm, to check on the carpentry updates and also to figure out where to put our toliet accessories.. So tiring.. Hopefully we can move in by end of the month..

Hey, Yang Guo, we have the same corner toliet accessories also.. Mine havent put up, but yesterday nite, me and hubby we figuring how to put them in the toliet finally decided at the same location as you, but higher abit.. Later i put the up in my blog give u see.. haha..
