hi Zlia, my custom made curtains for: 1) Living room full length (day+night) 2) MBR half height (night only) damage: $800.. my other 2 rooms: 1) bought blinds at ikea - $49 or $50 (Cant remember) 2) bought DIY curtain - $75 Total cost for all is $925.. hi Sunshines, my kitchen cabinet is included in package. i topped up a few hundreds for the galaxy black granite. Exactl price for the black granite i am not sure.. nemo..next week i am not too sure leh..quite busy these few weeks cos need to buy alot of things, i let u know again?

ya agree with binzz..the final cleaning only abt 70%.. yesterday i clean my hse once in the afternoon. at night when i go to my hse to see again, its the dust is still there. need to mop the floor at least 3times i guess. so tired also, keke. but fun right? 1 person mop, 1 person wipe. lol..

Winter has nice furniture at ifc in Sungei Kadut..#01-02. http://www.ifcsingapore.com/tenants_map.htm almost wanted to get the some furniture at Winter, but realised Red Apple share the same building over the other side of the road. so was hesitating yesterday, need to come back and check out first hehe

hi Chunky Monkey, thanks..my wife likes the kitchen alot too, all the colours chosen by her..the white cabinet doors is glossy laminate, we chose the heavy duty industrial type of white laminates, think is from lam chuan. duno whether how heavy duty it is hehe. i like the galaxy black granite top, last min we added that..originally wanted to do a nice bed head with our names behind the bed, but decided to DIY it. so we removed that item and swap the cost to the granite top. we didnt do a cooker hood, cos was advice by many pple that the hood doesnt help much in absorbing, eventually the floor still gets oily and need to clean the floor anyway. no offence to anyone who did the hood just personal preference ya the living room lights colour, actually i prefer more white colour lights, but we bought so many yellow colour lights already. Only can wait till next time change bulb, then buy white lights

yup i went IFC, managed to get a sofa that i cant find for the past 2 weeks. i am looking for high back sofa..need 3+1 half leather (3 seater without recliner and 1 seater with recliner) previously other shops dont sell 3+1.. (they sell either 3+1+1 or some sell with all recliners). i cant take 3+1+1 cos of my small living room. cant take all recliners too cos i afraid that my coffee table is blocking. hehe finally found the sofa i want yesterday thanks for all the compliments abt my kitchen =)) a pic of the sofa

ya, relax ok? hehe let u know ah, as a guideline for u, binzz, xlan and mine all started reno at beginning Nov07. We are just almost done only. Binzz's just completed this week. Xlan gg to complete also. Mine is waiting for backsplash only, latest done by next mon or tomorrow.. so we all also took abt 2mths to complete cos now is festive season, many holidays in dec07 say if yours is 2mths, completion date will be around week of 21st ba...? also quite reasonable right? err hope u can feel better

i bought my dining table and chairs from FC too. bought it at expo furniture fair i went to imm to check the same dining set, hehe realised that got a better deal, cheaper by abt $100+ conclusion expo furniture fair is indeed cheaper. my 2cents worth. dont blame me if i am wrong hehe

Hi Prodigic, calm down ya.. year end period, estimated reno time is at least 2mths if there is alot of carpentry involved.. has ur carpenter measured all your carpentry already? u see ah..this is roughly the time frame 1) measure carpentry --> 2) 1.5week later carpentry arrived --> 3) installation carpentry takes 4-5days --> 4) cabinet done, then measure kitchen cabinet top takes another 5-days --> 5) installation 1day total carpentry can takes around at least 2.5weeks.. be patient and wait till works are done is a better choice..
