Hi Lumiere, kitchen tiles only can do overlay..no point doing overlay lar,cos have to incur extra cost,hehe,no $ ah Thanks Linggie !! my customary is next year sep..ya, quite alot of pple customary next year my new house will be empty for quite some time before i can move in loh cos customary in sep

i dont dare to try whether got cut leg feeling or not,cos the white cement just put into it only,hehe,hope dont have cut leg feeling..yup still need a wash with protective coat living room,still work in progress tilings shld be completed by tomorrow, the worker told me, hehe, though its 1day behind schedule, its ok lar..

just went up to my hse, one of the worker still there doing the white cement in between the tiles. i took a few photos =p the rooms are done, living room almost done, left abt 20% more and it will be completed. here is my bedrooms photos, skirting is up a closer look at the tiles

ya jasch, think that was my ID, cos we just finished our 1hr session with him discussing abt our electrical points just now. What time are u there just now? i left there at abt 5pm and went to my bridal shop Whitelink..next week ROM,hehe ya my whole house is using homo tiles..not using laminate flooring cos worry cant last long..next time need to take care of kids, dont want to spend time taking care of laminate flooring cos once water stays there too long, laminate flooring will easily spoilt. just my opinion, though laminate flooring is nice and gives cozy feeling

Hi Lumiere..to what i know, most ID dont reply by email de..cos they have alot of email coming in, they cant reply and quote so many email, cant blame them la keke. most companies are like that. my colleague also experienced this too..most of the email sent to ID firms, he got no reply my tiles skirting is almost done today, was discussing abt electrical works today, no time to take photo to post up. Will definitely post more photos on the weekend, keke getting more and more excited abt my reno

mine is done by Lawrence, my blog is in my signature =) so far no regret. I am in my electrical works stage. I know nothing about electrical works, he educated me alot on my electrical points.eg.where the points should be place, whether the downlight shine on my console or not, the pros and cons of having a dining area hang light I have a tile suppose to put in coins. When i ask the workers to dig up the tile, the workers is friendly i have chosen my paint colour last week. Initially i wanted only 2 colours in my house. Lawrence suggested that i take more colours. He helped me added another 5 colours making total 7 colours in my house without extra cost. Not many ID will suggest u to add more colours right? (cos more colours more cost to some ID) Mine is Lawrence Tan. Not sure how many Lawrence are there in Baroque. i dont find any reason to feel regreted for my reno done by him. hi elaine, mine is 10%/50%/30%/10% 50% is upon start work.. they have started work already, so i have paid total 60% already.. my next payment of 30% is upon start work of carpentry alot of pple's payment term are 10/40/40/10 - this is quite standard practice. Some are 10/50/30/10, can be negotiable i guess so far mine is quite on time, they work according to schedule given to me, quite accurate..went up to my flat at 615pm just now, they are still working inside. tmr meeting my ID to decide the number of electrical points ya, some ID in Baroque has cheap quote, some exp.. my colleague went to Baroque also, was attended by another ID, was quoted at quite high price i guess different ID charge differently ba

i used 5X$1 coins also..lol the process of placing the coins on the floor is so funny. Once i placed, the person doing my tiles laugh,and seal up the floor

dont have leh..dont see any water pipe outside the main door..if got, think its all conceal in the electric/water meter room already (the one that u can open with ur key,every hse have one)

Hi Binzz, my tiles estimated will be done by coming thur..the skirting not done yet, and they have not yet put the white colour thing in between the tiles yet..so i cant feel it whether is it ok or not.. wow ur reno is quite fast ya. we started at abt the same date, and ur tiles is done

yup its placed at the entrance of the tiles for my case. i guess the placement of the coins have to depend on ur bazi and the direction of the house ba..i heard some pple placed it in many corners of the hse. my ID so far so gd, i am v satisfied with him oh ya, i will have a major change to the design of my house.. more pictures will be posted up shortly hehe
