Contractors may not be cheaper.. The quotes I got from contractors especially those v popular in renotalk are at least 30% higher than my current renovator. Though we engaged ID but we engaged own Aircon and electrician which are cheaper. So far very pleased with my ID who is very experienced and hands-on type. Feel very comfortable with him and u know your house is in good hands. Reno almost completing Hope those searching for ID / contractors find their ideal one soon and smooth journey !

It's true.. Some friends asked why we want buy EM .. We can buy at least an EC/ suburban condo at the price we paid.. But we feel we won't enjoy the big space like EM. Moreover we not the type that will utilize the condo facilities. Ya we quite worry for our dog's safety when it comes to stairs. She hardly climb staircases at all so v slow. Moreover she's turning 7 ( though still active lah) Quite worried she may trip and fall ESP when nobody at home. She get excited when we get home and can't imagine if she happen to be at upstairs she may roll all the way down

We think she could sense this gonna be her new house hehe This is foyer area with 2 lobangs.. As usual our rascal is a very kaypoh dog so she likes to stick her head out to peep. These 2 lobangs will be blocked for her safety. MBR toilet

Hi toonie I think it's 2" .. Not too sure of the actual wood material but should be teak? But I know its not old wood .. Think old wood cost even more .. Burmese old wood? Workers said nowadays mostly use new trees

Hi yun69 Thank you for your kind words Your EM is which gen? Maybe u post layout so the experts here can advise Reno cost is always going up north.. Reno these days definitely not cheap :S I try to cut down on things to do and prioritize the things to do.. Later on then slowly add on. Pockets not deep enough and big hole burnt Good luck and hope you find a good contractor and smooth Reno. Care to share where's your EM?
