yafen.sg website is not updated. Her shop at Defu lane has a much larger selection of lights. Prices are much lower compared to other shops. Quality based on finishing and brightness is good but don't know about reliability since I have not bought yet. Just went in to look see look see but did not buy since my renovation has not started. Shop owner is a PRC woman.

My contractor quoted $45 per light point (including switch) and $60 per electrical socket point. My total quote for whole house (5 room flat) was $2230.

Now no need physical dimmer switch. LED lights now have remote controlled dimmer.

I am also looking for a renovation contractor. I am on a tight budget. Any recommendations, please share. Thanks

Reading this thread makes me sianz to the max. I finally managed to find a cheap contractor and reading this thread gives me the jitters.

Supermarkets such as Giant and Fairprice Xtra sells wood floor cleaner. Tile/flooring shops also have specialized wood cleaners. They cost around $10-$20 per 1L bottle.

My contractor quoted $120 for installation of 3 fans and removal/disposal of existing ones. Interested pls PM me.
