  1. I know several blogshop selling coach & kate spade and a couple of them do BP mode in another forum. But really depends on availibility of stock in outlet stock overseas that why limited stock and shipping cost is ex. For dresses, I order from several blogshops ocassionally. *cannot resist the temptation of those pretty dresses*
  2. Hmm have you checked with HDB what was their rationale for deducting money early? Then you can make a case and complain about that part esp since their working style very slow. And also you should settle for one account for HDB, that way can track easily or else you got to monitor both accounts
  3. Dresses? Bags like Coach or Kate Spade for eg?
  4. wow lao.. just come back and see all order coffee cups. Too bad I don't drink coffee.
  5. That's why their system is so lousy one. You should tell them they have that letter with them when you engaged the lawyers to do the mortgage stuff. In the same aspect, I have to admit, their system has too many flaws...
  6. Ah dun leh, just saying it reminds me of that cos not many will install gold in the bathroom with the exception of hotels. If your bathrooms look like hotel feel, can i go your place to use also? Icing sugar is very fine and too sweet thats why its usually used for baking purpose. If you want to substitute normal sugar with icing sugar, I'm not sure cos I never tried it out for other purpose though. You might want to give it a try? Remember, experiment!
  7. The gold tap saga = T.T. Durai lehhhh. You want to use icing sugar for which recipe?
  8. Hahaha you 2 ah, rondy & newnyew. Sound like a couple bickering all the time. Newnyew, gold mossaics in the toilet? The MBR toilet i assume? Reminds me a little of the gold tap saga. =x
  9. Ah, off-white colour is basically not pure white colour. It would be a shade or two darker in medium in tonality. Can repaint?
  10. so adorable and cute babies. I think you both would be very tired during the day with panda eyebags with the daily feed during the night
  11. You're welcome. Happy Baking!
  12. My baking skills so so leh. Still long way to go. I want to aim for a chocolate banana cake next, cheesecake still waiting to improve. keke
  13. If you've followed the steps properly, the dough will be as it is, not bendable like plastique. It does break easily, need to handle with care if you're cutting out shapes. If it breaks, roll it up again till it fuses with the other pieces of the dough just like making dough balls and flatten it out. You should sprinkle some flour on the worktop before putting the dough on it. (This will ensure the dough will not stick to the worktable) But if you don't like the idea of a very oily worktop as a result, you can try an alternative. Place 2 sheets of parchment paper on the worktop then sprinkle some flour on the parchment paper before putting the dough & flattening it with a roll pin. This is easier as you can 'peel' the parchment paper away from the cookie after cutting out the shape. Again, remember to flour your cutter lightly before cutting. Don't cut too hard as well & try not to flatten the dough too thin or it will be difficult for you to remove the shape without breaking it. When I first tried this, it took me over an hour to get the dough flattened & cut properly without breaking at all. Practice makes perfect. Below is a picture of the actual dough being flattened & the cut out shapes on parchment paper. Hope this helps.
  14. So you're not aiming for my cookies but the cakes?
  15. no worries.. everyone got his/her first time for everything. Just learn from experience slowly.
  16. Using toothpick or satay stick won't really determine how done the cheesecake is leh. 'Cos cheesecake varies in texture, some can be fluffy and light, some can be dense and crumbly, some can be like ice cream texture-those that melt in your mouth compared to cakes leh. Besides cheese is dense, the only method i know is to test its firmness is to touch the surface and see how it feels other than jiggling it 'Cos if it is too soft and not firm, then it is not done or set properly
  17. Hmm usually white tones will look a little too white against warm white that is. Your wall looks like warm white shade, so the colour of the mirror and fireplace should be all right including some soft touch ups like vintage rose porcelain stuff like that
  18. If you wash in bulk then you save more this way for drying the clothes at a go le. I always wash in bulk 2 times a week. So its pretty moderate seriously
  19. Think of it as an investment in terms of electricity bills you be paying. I think the bill will be lower this way cos not much electricity consumed this way.
