but it is fun to do up a house leh, both parties must enjoy it & the "battles of decision" included.
-
Newnyew, congrats on winning the battle. Think your hubby got 'cornered' by you in the persuasion :notti:
-
I second that. I was very surprised myself too the moment I log into the RT forum. But honestly, I don't bake often seriously 'cos Im busy with other commitments too but we should organise 'home' visits for eating sinful treats
-
*blush* My cakes are so so leh, I fantasize about Newnyew's cheesecake most. No problem, you're welcome!
-
Precious, the one at clementi is at avenue 3 near the clementi sports hall (SSC) there, a few blocks away and not far from clementi MRT.
-
I'm surprised to see myself being called a baking queen? I think the honour goes to Newnyew for her cheesecake! The recipe for the butter cookies can be found in Rondy's blog. Will pm you the recipe for both cakes tomorrow. Yeah Phoon Huat at Jurong East closed down, I was very surprised to see a empty store premise when I went there recently and I didn't even know about its closing. There's phoon huat branches in amk/tpy and Sun Lik at bras besah road. PS: This blog is in the correct section or not as this section is more to home renovation blogs?

I think it is possible actually. There's a lady living overseas holding a regular job but her baking experiments are tops. She's experimented with all sorts of flavours, variety for her cupcakes which actually look tempting and more delicious looking with her decoration skills too. Man, her recipes are slightly more than simple recipes so doing the preparations will take longer than usual, meaning more ingredients more mixing to do. If you switch the full cream cheese to low fat or light cream cheese, it should be all right to experiment with durian flavour if you can puree the durian and blend it together with the low fat/light cream cheese as full cream cheese is more dense and heavy due to diary proportion.

Didn't know BBron is really so kinky. Monkey no eyes, monkey no hear, monkey no speak hor

But even if having storage tank, it wouldn't be an issue for you to have cold water as long le? There's cold and hot water taps right?
-
Or the champs instant heater, the pressure is good enough to keep the body all warmed up on cold days.
-
Speaking of instant heaters, you got to check your water pressure for hot water with the instant heater. Mine is a mistral compact water heater, the salesperson said this heater can deliver hot water but the sad part is that I can only get hot water if i adjust the water pressure to low then can enjoy hot feeling. So if you're aiming for hot water in full water pressure, you should check this out cos I remember reading about the water pressure for instant heater will vary for the hot water.

Hmm i got to agree with rondy that the zebra tile looks nicer cos tiger look is more 'fierce' would look a little dated like the 70s-80s where tiger rugs were 'in'
-
Hmm.. sg custom will not charge gst for those purchases made in JB 'cos the gst is charged by the shop. Only the tax levy is imposed by the sg custom. Yeah the peking restaurant is the one at taman sentosa which I'm talking about.
-
Cool, it seems this is easier than vinyl decals? I agree, my hubby was very tired doing the smoothing.
-
Yes need to pay tax, already mention earlier need to pay tax levy + GST + transportation charges. But in some cases, furniture shops will either wave either tax levy/gst or transportation charges if you buy a minimum quota of furniture of them from what I understand. 5K SGD worth of furniture is about 10-11k plus ringgit. It is BIG business to them leh.
-
I think its maybe cos alot of KTVs and nightclubs there, not to mention alot of ah bengs and sorts including crime rate?
-
Then it should be the same restaurant name, different branches. For seafood, Taman Sri Tebrau Hawker Centre got seafood stalls, its cheaper to eat there for good food but if you want something a little more cleaner and more cooler, can try the seafood restaurant opp taman sri tebrau. Or the one at taman sentosa. There are also kampung type seafood restaurants but a bit far. There's also the popular Bak kut teh restaurant in taman sri tebrau area.

Ok set, we see at the PPP. You mean the hot stone at Pelangi Plaza? Its good I must say. There's a similar one at CQ area if I not mistaken cos I pass by it before with my hubby once. Eh I don't have problems staying on my own but I dun dare to sleep if really spooky leh. Yes have to pay tax levy, transportation charge including GST but it is still cheap cos its not alot, just a few hundred ringgit.
-
Not always and not often also, When I go there, its either to eat or shop Can but must see when both free also. kekeke Hmm, actually I don't know seriously but that is what was reported in the papers ma. Pei fu leh you, can stay in haunted apartment.. If it's me, I prefer not to encounter unlucky or unclean things. *touchwood!*

Oh yah, forgot to ask if the ones from korea .. are they hard to put up compared to vinyl decals where one has to repeatedly smooth out the decals to prevent air bubbles trapped. It's also tiring to put them up and smoothen out the 'bumps', the ones in my MBR took 4 hours to do just for a small area seriously. (Only for laymens, not experts who can put them up effortlessly)
-
this was debated i think over the past 2 years about the paranormal in the Straits Times paper where readers wrote in to the letters colum saying similar things to what you described. Subsequently, the SPI decided to investigate those sounds and it turns out that in older blocks, the marble sound is due to the pipes & the chair dragging sound.. I can't remember what was the cause word for word. This was reported in a article after the SPI investigated. Similar reports were also stated in The New Paper too. Also, SPI didn't state any existence of ghosts too.

Just use a couple of clothes peg to secure the cover to the cage, this way it won't blow off.
-
Poor Bunny. You should cover the cage halfway when morning sun shines in.
-
very pretty the decals, the korean decals are soo cute. Feel like changing the decals in my MBR What kind of decal you order from singapore btw?
