Stry, we went chelsea lightings, at JE area. recommended by our ID but before den we already knew abt this place as our parents bought their lightings there years ago. pics coming! btw, do anyone noe why we can see the evening sun frm our masterbedroom? i thot the evening sun should blocked by blks 177 and 178. cos tt was what we saw when we went site-surveying in Aug last yr. dun tell me the sun shifts quarterly? Stry, call the officer. it took us less than 3 days to respond. must call them and they will try to respond to you. of cos when u talk to them, be polite, but u can call them almost everyday if they still haven come down for rectifications. haha... tt's what we did when we had defects. we bought our lights liao. the chandelier costs a bomb. will be posting the pics soon. our aircon is in progress and our kitchen has some updates too. stay tune! Hi keltong,jus a suggestion to u. Duno feasible anot. Try using a trunking to cover the wires for the TV. Den use the leftover wallpaper to wrap the trunking. L3x

U can consider do a partition wall to mount ur TV, shd not b v.exp & can hide TV cables aso. Den consider to paste stickers on e partition wall or not.. L3x

Felix 'enlightened' me one. But did u tell TO beforehand? If ur existing door frame is still around, need to hack the tiles & door frame. Hi all, the laying of tiles still in progress. However, encounter problem to lay tiles under the railing. Cos the tilers start laying the tiles frm kitchen, aligning the tiles frm the kitchen tiles. So ended up higher, & unable to tile under the railing. Will meet up wif K tml & find a solution. Living In a mess Dining Finally, my toilet door frm HDB came. nice? L3x

Hi kgms, hacking depends on whether a Professional Engineer is required anot, cost more if required. WIW not so sure, shd b charged as per-foot-run. Hi tulips,I tink 10k is insufficient if ur considering to hack the floor & wall tiles. Is ur flat new from HDB? Can 'search' for defects like hollow, cracked, chipped tiles. Hi babyiguana,mind telling us how much ur budget is, den can give advices as accordingly. Hi all, my flat aso 5i, jus to share my experience. 1. Establish ur budget within ur means. 2. List down the tings tat u MUST do. 3. List down the tings tat r optional, dun do aso wunt affect anyting. Den u can start look for quotes. My point of view is no point using contractor nowadays, cos price is as high as ID firms, worried abt extra costs. Can drop out those infamous ones here like EI B3n3d1ct, Gplan K3lv1n aso cos they r busy & 'diff to quote' if ur budget is too low. The above statement is my personal view only, dun believe can try.. After shortlisting those firms recommended here, can ask them for a quote liao. Hope the above helps, & not naggy. L3x

MLR,ok, will look forward to ur blog. If run both pipes together, it will still cut the glass isn't it? I'm using PVC. No budget to change aso. If I have budget, I'll rather make it conceal. Copper pipes r cheaper.. I tink stainless steel cost abt 600-800?? Even if u dun built cabinets along the beam, u will still b charged under per-foot-run of the top cabinets. MLR,we r aware of the wall brackets. Jus tat duno which 1 is more pleasing to us Cos without pelmet, all e brackets & rods will b exposed when the curtains fully open. We will b having shower screen for the toilet, I tink tere is no way to avoid not cutting the glass. Y still need to run another one for toilet bowl? Only 2 pipes, I tink. 1 above screen, den the original 1 remain running to basin & toilet bowl. When starting ur t-blog??? Lin & L3x
