  1. Just to share, my place only did 1 coat of paint, then up carpentry then paint the 2nd and 3rd coat. Well, so I don't think he is trying to smoke you, just different way of getting things done. It really depends, some paint when you touch up, it will show up in patches, I am pretty sure you won't want to see those patches. So they gotta paint the whole wall for some cases. Actually I am quite a practical person, those area behind carpentry should in the near future I want to take it out and redo, confirm also need to repaint etc. Last but not least, the painter should do whatever necessary to protect the carpentry during the 2nd/3rd coat of paint.
  2. 10-12 inch seems ok to me. If your Tv console is similar to the pics above, you just need to take note to place your termination box as high as the 1st pics instead of the 2nd pic. The 2nd pic tv console might have some problem as it seems to me that it is place pretty low, the cable might bend sharply. If you understand how fibre work, its not good. At the same time, maybe you can show the pics to the opennet guy as well. End of the day, opennet installation ppl so human. Like contractor/carpenter, all got different skill, some better some worse, the reason he need 14", maybe he belongs to the lousy category. LOL
  3. I will give me 5 cents worth of comments. If you look at the diagram, all the opennet guy need to do is install a fibre termination box. That's his job n he can practically say bye bye to u. But I think he is giving u a very good advice as a professional. When you subscribe to fibre optic Internet connection, your Internet provider will give you the service provider ONT as show in the diagram which serve as a modem/router. If you look at mae fibre connection, it is place flat on the ground. The othe 2 pic u show look to me that it have enuff clearance to either put the ONT horizontally or vertically. The opennet guy is also correct, the place where u place the termination box n ONT have to be accessible. Should there be any prob to either, how are they going to troubleshoot? Last but not least, why don't u show us ur tv console so that we can advice u accordingly. The rest can kindly correct me if I am wrong.
  4. Hi, I am interested in the unit number plate as well, can PM me? Anyone doing a group buy on this?
  5. Not sure, but I getting my ID to shift it, didn't tell me cannot. LOL
  6. I am not sure if they can do that, even if police wanna come to ur house also need a search warrant. MC or the MA can suka suka conduct condo audit? So you are paying them maintenance fees to distrupt ur peace? Hmmmm
  7. Seriously, there ain't much choices in Singapore. So far, after searching around for my own place, these are the choices available: 1. www.smootree.sg 2. www.hiddenwallbed.com 3. www.ledasystem.com.sg/hidden_model.html I would love to have one from smootree if not for the cost, the no frills design from smootree is still affordable. I think around 3k for just a hiddenbed concept with no desk or sofa etc. However I very much prefer the mechanism from hiddenwallbed, in the end, I choose the hiddenwallbed design.
  8. Unless you are loaded, don't bother, if I did not remember wrongly, the system you are looking at cost 23k.
  9. Tell your MCST have they get the clearance for the air space to get the view 1st or not.
  10. Ask the MCST how the **** is building a trellis spoiling the facade of the condo. Unless your trellis is build until the edge where it can be view from ground floor. Or is he referring to the facade from an helicopter view.
  11. Aaron, Would like to hear your views on the brands of different air con, which would you recommend for a system 2/3 in terms of their performance and durability. I thinking of getting 3 x System 2 for my new place.
  12. Bro, Where can I find the latest franco fans products. I can't seem to find the light kit that you have.
  13. Ok now that make sense as well, so it is depending on the existing ceiling height and consideration of the clearance after mounting the ceiling fan. Bro, I ask to clarify, hope you understand. You not giving me the kdk contact coz I never offer kopi or Milo huh?
  14. I am just curious, recently I have seen ceiling fans mounted on false ceiling. So its not true that by installing ceiling fan, you are restricting to your renovation to just L-Box or Cove. Pls do correct me if I am wrong.
  15. Hi bro, I am interested in the KDK ceiling fan V60VK model as well. Can send me the KDK contact?
