I also got hansgrohe for all my shower and basin except for my kitchen sink. but the difference is really huge. the hansgrohe sets water flow are very smooth as compared to the kitchen sink china brand tap. the water actually will spray out of the sink and splash onto you. am tinking of changing that to the hansgrohe now. it's really "yi fen qian, yi fen huo".

You can try Aston Legends Sanur. It comes with a private pool and it's really exclusive. The price is one of the cheapest I can find with private pool. It's $180 per night if you book thru asiarooms.com. The only downside is that it is in a quiet part of Bali in Sanur. Not as happening as Kuta area. The beach is 10mins walk away and the villa provide shuttle service there. Stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly.

how many switches do you have for the heater? i.e. one in master room and one in kitchen? or just one is master room? As I understand from my ID is that if you have 2 switches, which is one is the master room and one in kitchen and your heater is in the common toilet, you've to on the switch in the kitchen. apparently, the water will not be hot enuff if you just switch on the room one. i also wonder how come it's like this. no harm trying and hope it helps!

Thus the glass panel is not full height that is from the floor to the ceiling. She said that this is done so i can hold the glass door. i will be doing up my glass panel in early aug and will post it up once it's done. keep u updated then!!

I need to check with my ID as the initial quote is 12mm already. My initial quote is $1880 for a glass door and a glass panel. The glass panel is about 3.9m in length. height is 1.9m. Pls take note as the ID is my friend and she gave me cost to cost.

I agree. It's really cheap and will advice you to request for the itemised quote. Check for hidden costs. Also check what is the price of tiles psf they are quoting here. $2psf or 3psf? When you go to the shop to choose tiles, you may be restricted to only the $2psf tiles and if you want the nicer tiles, you may have to top up for it. As all these are the hidden costs. So go through every item with the ID on the possible extra costs you may have to fork out.

My ID gave me 12mm thick glass panel and informed me that the price is higher than 10mm one. Actually I understand that most of the HDB uses 10mm but as my ID got experience of 10mm glass panel shattering so advice me to get 12mm.

Seems like there are differing views here. According to my aunt who is in the hardware industry selling copper and stainless steel pipes and my plumber, stainless steel may be prone to rust though this will only happen say maybe 8-10 years down the road. But you have to beware of the copper in the market now as due to the high prices there are many inferior products out there from China. According to my aunt, some copper pipes will leak after a few years due to the inferior quality. Only go for the Australian ones such as Kembla and Crane.

I am going to costruct a glass "wall" for my study room. The glass wall will be touching the ground but not the ceiling as they are constructing a beam from the ceiling to hold the glass. As there is also a glass door and the height of the glass door will be similar to height of the glass wall. They have just built the beam and will be fixing the glass panel in early August.
