maybe in older mature estate, flats are built far apart...more chances for sun to shine on. staying at corner unit with 3 walls facing outside...sure get sun from morning till evening... seen those new estate where flats so near...some unit always dark dark...no chance for sun even...

i stay highest floor in north of singapore, 20+ years old mature estate.. not hot..my has a higher ceiling mah.., no water tank above... and weekday we at work..not at home.... windy too...... mine is NW....so i get a slanted afternoon sun which i need to sun dry my clothes..only happen 2 to 5pm....slanted only... dun stay corner unit..cos 3 side of the wall exposed...the sun heat from morning till night...super hot. old estate...we has cooridor..so our house is sort of shield from the sun...

each person incharge own side.....inlaw pays for their own table and keep their own AP..if lose money..they top up themselve...i look after my side (relatives and frens), i gain money..i keep.... think got to have a good understanding whether having a wedding dinner will lose money or not...must know normally the relatives stingy or not... my fren wedding... 2 elderly supposed to come by themselve....last min...they bring their two kids and instead 10 to a table...and only give AP for 2 pax.... if u know relatives are generous...then i think this business deal can go thru lah.. if not...must bargain with inlaw...see who more desperate for the dinner..

well, if u are fast cooker...two burners will be enough...if u slow cooker...even if u wan to cook heavy and multiple dishes...you would not able to manage 3 burners.

who pays...who get to talk.. wedding dinner - i did not engage fotographer..jus use my own and some frens bring along theirs to take. so i dun have the usual table to table fotos...cos no photographer mah... knowing relatives give little..i only choose a small restaurant and assigned my in law limited tables. They only invited the parents...all kids must left at home..cos not enuff seats. hehe..like that wun lost money. liqour only allow when dinner start...so the old folks wun drink to their death before dinner start..and i save money too... i dun care..my wedding..my says.. my fren did not take wedding pics...she merely loan a gown..engage makeup artisit....and off she goes to wedding banquet.. up to you how to save cost.. if no money...no talk...tell MIL...no money..how to have dinner...ask her is she sponsoring?

very hilarious....luckily my hubby cannot bothered...the best method is i load the washer..i hang the clothes..i fold and keep in wardrobe...this way...no one complain..haha...wait long long sometimes my MIL will come to our place and casually comment the stove not clean, or window should be clean regularly......i will on the spot call my her son aka my hubby....and tell him to clean....or i will simply tell her....her son did not do good job and will ask him to do again...haha..... i always remind my hubby...i am not a housewife...but same as him, a working adult.

so far..2 forummers had their kitchen counter top made using Silestone and the reviews are good. None has floor tiles done by them thou. i tot floor tiles are fixed size and packed in boxes when delivered..how come got wrong sizes?? think i will get normal fixed pre-cut size tiles for my kitchen ba..
