NO. Buyer can request but cannot demand as it is not their right. Buyer don't have the right to ask the seller to empty fix fixture like build-in furniture, air-cons, towl bowl, sink, hood, hob, bamboo hanger, room doors, toilet door, main door, main gate, window grill, ceiling fan, down-light, false ceiling, basically everything that is wall mounted exclude wall-mount TV. Buyer buy as what-is-it. Seller cannot remove anything that is belong to fixture include towl bowl. Seller need to empty the house before hang over to the buyer. empty the house referring to all movable furniture, TV, rice cooker, kettle. clothing, shoes, cat, dog, ur wedding photo, family photo, washing machine, fridge, etc Seller can do if buyer request but it is not a MUST for seller to do it. If buyer has problem understand it. Talk to HDB officer. -

nothing much u can do. I also receive letter from Bank, say so and so own them 10k plus since 2009. Even sent lawyer letter. Yesterday receive the letter from debt collector company (on the behalf of the Bank) Other than return the letters, nothing much u can do. -

Old flats has 1. more coffee shops 2. more mama shops 3. more primary schools (at least for my area) 4. better transportion 5. more childcare centre (at least for my area) 6. bigger floor area 7. don't have the house shelter 8. better floor plan.( more rect . Some new floor plan, cut here, cut there. Don't know how to put furniture) -

ya. Change WC , confirm will affect the tiles. Don't save of this part. If not, later your lower floor neighbor complain ceiling leak. Then you need to re-do the toilet floor again. What you can do is, If the wall still ok. Just change the floor will do. I also do my reno on budget. Only change or hack thing we need to change. For the master bedroom toilet. I only change the sitting WC as I don't like to use 2nd hand toilet bowl. Change the mirror, etc For common toilet, change the squating to seating type. Change the basin, mirror, heater. Reno is stress but after that. You will enjoy the fruit of your stress. Nothing is better than your own home.

One of the flats acquired was at Pinnacle@Duxton. The owner had sublet the entire flat without HDB's approval in the guise of subletting of rooms, shortly after the flat purchase in January last year. During its night inspections in May and June 2010, HDB found that the owner was not staying at the flat. HDB's investigations revealed that the owner did not have any intention to stay in the flat and had bought it purely for monetary gains. In another 56 cases, HDB warned or fined the owners. HDB said it stepped up its enforcement against unauthorised subletting last year. It carried out 7,000 flat inspections, up from 3,000 inspections in 2009. About 1,800 inspections were the result of public feedback. This is almost double the number of public feedback received in 2009. HDB said it takes a very serious view of any unauthorised subletting and will take stern actions against owners, including compulsory acquisition, even if it is the owner's first infringement. This is especially for cases where the flat owners had bought the flat purely for monetary gains, with no intention of occupying it. There have also been cases where flat owners try to circumvent HDB's rules by locking up one room and subletting the rest of the flat without physically staying in it. It said such cases will be treated as unauthorised subletting of the entire flat. Flat owners who wish to sublet their entire flats must meet the Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) and obtain HDB's approval before they can do so. -CNA/ac

I think he is much more better than that Dr who converted to Singaporean 3 yrs ago. Wondering, is it due to PAP invite him for tea. That's why he converted. At least "Secret weapon" do NS. This DR say, he has save alot of baby. That is same as doing NS. So, next time, all Dr can use this as excuse. I save life. NO NS for me. B'coz that Dr say so

Reno base on what your need and want. And I disagree on this. I look for location and min reno cost. Design is not my concern. The previous owner taste is not my taste. What is in fashion now , will be out-dated 5 yrs later. May be I'm not a modern family. While searching high and low for a flat or our own. We come across a 3.5 rm - location we want but they hack 2 rm into 1 rm. We don't want to spend extra $$ to rebuild the wall especially when the COV is very high. Seller will not lower their asking price b'coz of that Next we come across a 4 rm flat - high floor, location we want. But they hack 2 rms into 1 rm. So instead of 3 rm, it only has 2 rms and the seller insist of 80k COV due to his so-call show-flat reno. Which is quite nice but not my design taste. My husband say Even it is a 4rm HDB, it only has 2 rm. So what is the different of getting a 3rm flat. If I want 2 rms only, I rather buy a 3 rm flat. Cheaper. -
