  10. Must stay in HDB that is old rule. Few yrs back change liao. As long as you had meet the MOP. U can rent out and stay @ condo. Alot of ppl are doing that. Especially now, the HDB rental very good return. can use the rental to pay their condo. BTW, FYI. Once you purchase a private property. All those rebate (PUB/ SC ) that announce during budget time, will be take away.
  11. Some bank pay for valuation cost. Once when I'm searching for mortgage loan. I need to pay back the valuation cost if I do a fully repayment within their lockin period. The SCB banker didn't told me this until I ask. Basically that banker service SUCK
  12. use CPF also need the report. B'coz CPF only can use to pay the valuation price. The only chance don't require the report is, you pay all in CASH
  13. May be you want to take a photo of your existing MCB. My resale HDB is 30 yrs old, I ask my electrican to check the existing MCB. See is there a need to change. He just look at the MCB and say. This is new type. Old one.. only had this new one .. had this and this. Until now, I still don't understand what he mean by this and this.. Ask my husband .. he look at me..   14. Mortgage fee, you better ask. When I ask a lawyer why mortgage fee is exclude, he explain , the mortgage fee is pay to IRAS. Hence it is not include in the lawyer fee. However, I read some ppl mention his lawyer fee include the mortgage fee. So I don't know what is the standard practice. Mortgage fee cost $500. The main thing, he did a good job for you.

  17. I don't know about yours. But my house has 1 circuit breaker in the house. The right outside near to my gate, has another circuit breaker which i think should be maintain by HDB or PUB. (I think) But in what situation the power will trip? Is it trip after you plug in certain application. Sometime may due to overloading. When is the last time, you had change the wiring
