try going to Joo Chiat complex, Ling Carpets. the boss is chinese and hv many many type of carpets to recommend you. they hv those type of carpet you describe also. their price is reasonable.

and also do walk around the pasar malam around malay village. this is a gd time to visit coz they hv display out watever carpet they hv, usually its rolled up and you hv a difficulty to look at them.

and some are going for quite a gd price. hope you enjoy your hunting. :bangwall:

mao mao cong, worms. i know evov selling at $400+ and also OM selling, forgot how much, abt same price i think or more.

look like big fat worm, got many colours, grey, black, red etc.

but hor, how do we know if the carpet is of good quality? meaning the worm wont drop out, or wont be sucked out if i use vacuum cleaner on them. how about the base of the carpet - cos i know lousy ones will crumble after time (like a few years time) and the floor will look messy with the bits and pieces of crumbs.
