Boring Wardrobes Look

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I didn't expect my 2 panel sliding door wardrobe to be such a boring look

as there is only one color tone (beige color without any silver trimming).

Thinking that simplicity is the beauty. So sad... :notti::notti:zz

Any recommendation to improve the look? Of course, re-skinning will

be out of question. And of course, it's not the contractor fault as

i told him that this is what i want.

Please help....

I'll try to download some pics. Still trying to figure that out.

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Divide the panel into 3 equal horizontal sections using pin stripes or Stainless Steel inserts.

Then.. the middle section.. paste a mirror on top.

Alternatively.. use halo spotlight on the ceiling to create intresting light patterns on the door panels.

or you can consider vinyl stickers to liven up the look

the possibilities are actually endless

just how adventurous you are, and what's your budget :P

check out the other thread on wink stickers

or M&E's EM thread :dunno:

Check with your main con if he can add a thin border/frame within the body of your sliding door. Maybe a simple frame that is about 1 ft away from all 4 sides of the door.

The carpenter should be able to stick the strip with glue.

Wow, that is really really plain!

To me it's blended into the wall space and create a spacious effect. To each individual it's own preference. I like that!
