wahaha... but I'm still a good girl. I wake up about 7plus to 8. but at the rate the flu thing is going I'm wondering if school can reopen on time. Sigh.

Uncle is like that. He put the appt to tmr? You must be prepared. Because you aren't getting your home yet, he's more likely to delay you more. he usually acts faster for people who are getting their keys. The funny thing about him is that although he forgets things... he seems to rem who is getting their keys when... he will initiate calls to owners who are getting keys soon... mmm Funny man

Last Fri received his call (I never expect he'll call me, i intend to chase his quotation in July).

He said our quotation is ready.

So we decided to meet him at our nest last Sat.

But he last min flew us plane.

So change to Monday (yesterday), he flew plane again.

& hubby kiwi is going to meet him today after work, hope he will turn up.

Hubby kiwi asked uncle how much he quoted over the phone, uncle refuses to reveal the figure.

Hope we won't be asked for self-quarrantine when we back...

Hope you got your quote today... mmm why wouldn't he reveal figure I wonder. Normally he will give a ballpark over the phone. mm

mm TW should be ok I guess. My sis and BIL travel to and fro TW very often without problems.... Just be very careful on the plane. I think being in a confined place breathing in recycled air for many hours is one of the key problems.

Ya... Maybe bcos our nest's condition is really too bad, that's y need to do more things esp toilets & kitchen.

Uncle did advise what are needed or not necessary to do.

Here minus there deduct = $30200.

Sob sob... He charges us the shelving thing in storerm too.

Hubby Kiwi said he will Sha Jiao to uncle, persuading him to give more d/c when he comes back with 2nd quotation.

Hmm .. did you do a lot of carpentry or change windows/grilles/doors?

I think those are the ones that will add up to large amount

mm If you have plastering, wardrobes, TV feature wall, windows and window grilles, total rewiring.. all that will add up to a lot.

same like we forgo wall tiles for kitchen, whole place plastering(as Uncle say the condition is quite good) and etc to be within the budget....

5. Plastering whole unit (the house's condition really CMI)

6. Painting whole unit (Kiwi suggests we do the painting ourselves, oh no...)

7. Change window grille & windows in living room and 1 of the common rooms.

8. Change window in MBR and the other common room.

9. Change main door grille, paint the door.

10. L-shape (island) kitchen cabinet with solid surface top.

11. bifold door for toilet and frosted glass door for MBR toilet.

12. Covelight in living room

I cant think of any other now...

hmm...is the condition of the window very bad?Cos we din really change...just ask Uncle to change some parts for us. We also take off the window grill since it doesnt suits our theme. thought we will redo it when our budget can afford.
