Just had my 1st appointment, didn't paid anything 'coz already paid the registration fee, valuation fee, etc when signing the OTP.

Make sure you have 2 copies of your IC, Valuation and Letter of Offer ... well, I am taking bank loan so I need 2 copies of these docs maybe 1 copy is enough if take HDB loan .... but no harm just to bring extra copies. .... and for bank loan bring a copy of your CPF transactions for the lawyer to verify the monthly amount that can be deducted from your CPF.

For the remaining payment, you can write the check to your lawyer dated 1 week before your 2nd appt. The amount should be the remaining of your COV plus the 5% for cash. Since not using HDB laywer, no need to go down on 2nd appt, lawyer will act on your behalf.

yes, no payment involved during 1st appt. all will be explained to u during 1st appt. we were advised by our lawyer to submit cheque payment a week b4 2nd appt.

u'll receive letter fm hdb & ur lawyer days later after ur agent submitted the form. docs needed to bring for 1st appt are all mentioned.

I have just completed my 1st appointment yesterday and have paid the following amounts:

(I am applying for a BANK loan)

1. Payment for Stamp and Legal Fees

2. Lawyers Fee (little amount since my Bank subsidized the bigger amount)

Then I have issued a post dated cheque (dated 1 week before my 2nd appt) amounting to the remaining

balance that I need to pay.

Hummmm..... I may not be in SIN for the first appt. and I have got the Letter of Attorney fm the bank lawyer so

that my mum can act for me.

Does that means my mum has to bring a cheque to pay $ for

1. Payment for Stamp and Legal Fees

2. Lawyers Fee

If thats the case, shld I call the bank lawyer before the 1st appt?

i thought stamp fee can be deduct thru CPF?

I'm going for my 1st appt next month also taking bank loan.

Yes. Cash only if your cpf is not enough to pay for the stamp duty fee.
