Instant Heater : 707 Or Others

Recommended Posts

Been trying to source for instant heaters for my place.

707 instant heaters straight away come to my mind as it's a much more established and reliable brand. However, when I was shopping at a shop in Geylang which many RT forummers frequent, I was recommend the ALPHA Impress 700 heater but from what I have read here, it seems that Alpha heaters are not that great...

Also, when I asked about the top end Princeton model, the shop told me the big rain shower head will not deliver enough water pressure. That the smaller the head, the stronger the pressure. I am staying at 12th floor unit on a block which is only 13 floor high.

Any users of Princeton around to verify this?

Also, what other brands of instant heaters are recommended if you are not using 707?

I understand that instant heaters do not offer HOT enough water or HIGH pressure when compare to storage ones. I dun tink I need the water to be VERY hot in tropical Singapore...

Any advises are greatly appreciated :D

May I know how much is your 707 heater? I paid $220 for it. Think it's very expensive as I saw some Forumers are getting it at $150. Any recommended shop for this? Want to get another one for my second bathroom. Thanks.

My dad's house had 2 toilet that using 707 for more then 14 years and 20 years and is still using for 20 years.

For the 14 years, is already spoilt , so he been keen on changing brand but not 707 (4 brands within 6 years)

The reason why didn't change back 707, due to sales ppl said german brand is good, that brand is better etc etc.

LOL anyway i already shift out.

Hey Dude,

I will recommend Joven Heater for you, if you are looking for established and reliable brand.

When I was looking for my heater, I was also looking only at 707 and Joven, because it was always recommended by my family members. In the end, I choose Joven JH-25, simply because there is more word of mouth of this brand than 707 and is very reliable. I believed I have make a good choice and is still serving me very well.

I bought it from EJ electrical from AMK and their service and price are both pretty good. The installation work is very important when you purchased your heater, so do look into that. EJ offer pretty good service on that and I should say it is pretty safe and well installed.

The shop is located at Amk ave 4, and you should be able to find their number and address pretty easy online.
