Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am Male Chinese local student looking for a Room to rent in the East area for the duration of 6 months - 1 year.

I am hoping to rent the whole room @ monthly of $300/- or less. :D

I will be needing the room after CNY.

I agree with RT member forgotten's comments. And the rental rate also depends on which part of Eastern Singapore. Those flats nearer towards central e.g. Kallang, Haig Road might fetch as high as $800 for just a common room.

So u might end up sharing with 2 other tenants. Depends on your luck too because some landlords rent out their rooms for companionship.

Best wishes & hope that u get your room soon :)

thanks! so, on these ads, the asking price is usually what is ultimately agreed on, is it? (ie. landlord advertising asking 800 , means most likely will get 800, not very negotiable?)

Hi JoelJun,

It will be difficult to get a room in 3oo$ or even less but if you will raise price you will get quick and multiple options.

Where are you staying right now and why do you want to move?
