Painting Or Lighting First?

Hi all,

just got my unit. Few painters I asked said I should settle all fixtures like lighting first before the paint job as there might be cracks from the drilling etc that need to be painted over.

However the staff from the light shops said that I should paint first before installing the lights as the lightings might get the painting.

May I know who is correct and which is the correct sequence? Please share your experience

Both also correct. Its just how they want the flow to be.

Also, it depends on where u are installing. I believe the painters are talking about L box or false ceiling.

But if u choose install lights then paint, make sure the painters will clean those stray marks should it touches ur light fittings.
