Help needed!: Hacking of wall between kitchen and service yard

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm planning to reno my 3 room bto and realised that kitchen space is very small. I would like to hack the wall between kitchen and service yard, however there's a ramp.

As Cost is a concern, will I need to hack the tiles for the whole kitchen and lay new tiles, if I were to hack the wall?

Hope someone who has done this can advise! Thank you

Hi TS, no need to hack all wall tiles. Just relay those tiles that are cracked will suffice.

And yes, the ramp is a problem. Normally people will keep the ramp, but they will extend both sides of the uneven floor to become cabinet space.

Alternatively, if your kitchen is only 1 side, u can choose to make the remaining space into either all ramp or all step.

Yes most people seem to do that, it seems as a better solution
