Last saturday went shopping with hubby @ Taka... Last stop was level 5 Best...

Saw the leaflet of the latest Home Security & Convenience gadget by Sharp... Not bad of an idea..

Something like what u see in the korean drama.. When someone press the doorbell, u can view the person from a wireless door viewer...

Unlike the traditional, which u got to peep over the door viewer.. But in actual, ppl will know someone is in already... !

But price consider pricey... Selling @ 399..

One thing is we can't confirm the clarity of the picture/photos..

What is a wireless door viewer?

Why not just install a mini camera on the door viewer's hole and a CCTV on top of the door, I think about the same price also, maybe lesser if excluding installation.

Sim Lim square has alot of such cameras...

they used a device (camera and transmitter) to mount it onto the peephole of your door. So instead of a human eye looking thru the peephole, the camera views it instead.

the camera then takes the image(video) and transmit it to LCD display device(portable).

havent seen any LIVE demo yet....

alternative - get a electrician to run a RG59 cable(tv cable) from main door to TV - around $150

buy a camera with infra red - approx $100

buy a tv splitter - less than $50

switch channel on your tv to view who is at your door.

This will be classify under my "nice to have" things.

More important to get those "must have" eg Fridge, washing machine etc and "need to have" eg air con, hood etc. first.

"Nice to have" things only if budget allows.
