Into the Unknown - 4R Resale @ Fernvale

Recommended Posts

Finally had time to update my thread, i am really lucky i guess to have a designer who was able to update me everyday on the progress even tho i did not have the time to go down. I only manage to go down together with my wife last sunday and was really pleased with the progress even tho we had alot of issues at the start of the renovation i.e.: issues with the bank regarding my reno loan and HDB requiring me to hire a PE to hack a non structural wall.

Anyway we have receive the 3D from him and were very please with his design overall, hopefully everything turns out to be almost the same

Master bedroom - ID propose the idea of hiding the our vanity item within the wardrobe with a hidden door beside the mirror for space saving and tidiness and we love it except that we request he use the same laminate for the door with the frame of the wardrobe:wub:

ceiling lights and downlights that i ordered thru my friend from taobao is also here, they are still sitting at my friend's house and packaging looks solid. Hopefully all of them are working as intended, i only bought spare downlights but only 1 kitchen light + 2 bedroom light

Are those window grilles by the bay window? But doesn't seem to be the case because they're mounted to the wall too?:o

haha i’m not sure either but i’m getting my ID to remove them. i personally don’t really like grilles make the house look like a prison.

Finalise the carpentry and have the aircon from gain city do the first round of piping for the aircon  everything is slowly but surely shaping up to our dream home and so far thanks to our ID we have yet to encounter any major problems even tho we only go down once per week:good:. can't wait to go down this week to look at the completed painting

Went up to the house today to take the first delivery from Harvey Norman (Hob / Hood / Oven / Microwave) since they are all built into the kitchen carpentry, and saw that tiling and painting are completed. Super excited that its countdown to moving in now smile.gif. ID also informed me that carpentry should be ready by the end of the month and next monday they will start to install my bathroom accessories. here are some of the updated photos:drunk:

Am really glad that both tiles for kitchen and living room blend in really well together(not cleaned yet so it looks very dirty) even tho the living room was from SBH and kitchen tiles were from Hafary. All of our tiles were from SBH except kitchen floor tiles as SBH doesn't have the non slip version for kitchen and in the end we manage to find one closest match to our living room in Hafary and thanks to our ID for allowing us to mix and match from different company :jammin:
