Hi Mr Chong,

Is it ok to put the stove beside the sink with a chopping area in between and the washing machine opposite the stove?

Please advise.

water and fire cannot face one another, sink n stove with 1ft above gap is good

I also tried to avoid water facing fire. But what about 1/5 of the fridge door facing the stove? If this is not allowed, I will have to spend a lot to re do the kitchen liao. Please advice

Hello

I think I've replied this some other threads before.

Anyway, all these are considered as placements. Quite secondary.

If you're concern, then leave a gap in between. Even better to place some things in between.

When space constraint, just don't cook when you use the washing machines. When your house luck is good, these are very minor issues.

Sorry to sidetrack...

My friend do a L shape cabinet.

The shorter length is Stove,

Behind stove is Washine machine, facing the window.

Stove face kitchen enterance, mean when she cook, her back is facing the enterance.

The longer length of cabinet place the Basin near to the end where Stove is place. Basin face window.

Is that good??

Thanks for everybody comments.

Hi, is your stove facing west direction? If yes, is a good placement.

Try to put your sink facing the direction where your main door is facing. That should be a good position.

how come face west direction is good leh?

i thought stove placement should be based on a person's good direction... usually the wife or person that uses the kitchen the most.
