Different Forms Of Feng Shui

Recommended Posts

Hi :( ,

we just borrowed a few books on Feng Shui from the Library and read that there are actually a few forms of Feng Shui. Here is to list a few :

1. Xuan Kong

2. Xuan Kong Fei Xing (Flying Stars School)

3. Ba Zhai

4. San Yuan Dragon Stars School

5. Qi Men Dun Jia

Just curious, which is the more practised in Singapore? And why is that so?

We also find that most of the books are written by 2 authors : Lilian Too and Joey Yap. But it seems like they are different in the way they use Feng Shui. Why is that so? Different form of Feng Shui?

1. Xuan Kong - I thot that one is use for tomb ?

2. I Guess that one is original from ZI BAI FEI XING (or Flying Star)

3. Also known as 8 House Theory

4. This sch got a bit of Logic

5. Qi Men Dun Jia is not Feng Shui ...

Btw.. u can just read the books from these 2 author FOR READING PLEASURE. Because some time they write wrongly.

Hi ahnah, thanks for the reply.

Just curious, what is the more practised form here in Singapore? Seems like the Flying Star is more applicable here in our region? Is that true? :D

Found a topic in Bazi Consultation by Mr Chong discussing the same thing:

Feng Shui (the Various Methods), which one to adopt?

By the way, how do we determined the 8 directions? What degree each directions range from?

Currently we are not sure we are facing the North or North East as it is 25 degrees. Please advise.

Hope this helps. :furious:

Because we live in HDB .. so 8 house theory is limited because it use to apply on Landed Property. BUt we still use it to determine your 4 good and 4 bad sector/position of the space that you live with.

Flying Star we also take into consideration which start fly to where (annually). So like this year, I did something to North East sector.

How to determine 8 direction .. can't explain by a few sentence here.

From a start, why not found out how to take reading (direction reading) from your place of stay first ? do some read up.
