Renovating 1 Room (master)

Recommended Posts

All,

My 3rm flat is in bad condition due to lack of maintenance and care. I plan to do a minor renovation just for my Master Bedroom only.

What I planned to get done.

1. Painting for Master Bedroom + Its Toilet.

2. Upgrading to a better water heater showering system.

3. Change Ceiling light with dimmer for cosy effect.

4. Laying Carpet for my room 4x3 meter

5. Mirror

6. Adding few wall cabinets

7. Rewiring / extending cable point / telephone phone / removing and adding power socket.

I would like to know if I should engage ID or should I engage each individual contractors myself for these task? Where can I find Carpet layers? Any recommendation?

i believe most IDs will tell you they are very busy...

just go for a contractor since you know what to do.

If no contractor or ID wants to do it, engage different contractors to do each part.

That's even worse. Then you're managing all the subcontractors.
