  4. love what you did for your house! and I absolutely agree with you about being patient & not to point fingers. very good point. no reno process is 100% smooth or perfect. totally agree with you on these points - work on the big picture, be patient & no need to point finger. your house looks great!
  5. if you are using sliding door, i guess the slanted wall will not pose much of a problem. maybe only an eyesore aesthetically.
  6. i would think it's for the pipe. as for the other chipped tiles, you need to get his workers to replace. they can do it even after grouting is done.

  11. that depends on how the ramp looks like. if the contrast between the living & kitchen tiles are great, that will help people to look out for the drop.
  12. i just realised i have been carrot-chopped for the purchase of my rattan chair! ugh... came across another rattan chair retailer & i could have saved $100 if i were to buy it from her. sigh. in fact a few customers mentioned to her about the carrot chopping by that joo chiat shop. anyway this lady goes round setting up pop up stall once a month in my neighbourhood just like this one: and yes, i succumbed to my temptation & bought another rattan chair. they do have a retail shop as well. and since it's the holidays, i attempted to make a strawberry cheesecake. yes, i'm digressing! here's the work in progress:
  13. My take is still a no, largely due to size of bathroom which is miserably small.
