  1. Yeah rite. My hubby still pissed off by the way his own family treats him many years ago before i came into the pic. so now after he changed his job(recently) he is able to earn more enough to stop his sisters from shooting mouths off, still he dun prefer to let his own family know how much and always remind me not to reveal too much abt his earnings nor discuss abt our cash proceed with his family. Obviously his mum failed as a mum when it comes to her own children.
  2. Yup i agree. Even my MIL also wants to know my hubby's salary but dare nt ask him directly, instead ask me. i felt she is quite KAPO and the type that likes to compare her own son with her other daughter and her son-in-law and her niece's husband over the salary range.
  3. . I was even cruel. I closed our joint account(saving fund) n withdrew all the $$$ out n blew it on spendings on renting my room outside just after the divorce. me bad hor
  4. For now, our buyers managed to resolve their issue and our appointment was rescheduled to a later date. Just asking only cos i m scared.
  5. HI brothers and sisters We, the sellers and the buyers had already signed, and submitted the OTP and our first appt was on 12/12/08. however, the transaction could not go thru due to their HLE made invalid based on the male's loss of job recently. Now our concern is can we sue the buyers for damages since everything was okay and even submitted to HDb but in case, they might not be able to get their HLE by end of dec or early Jan, How???
  6. hi, forummers need some advice from u, abt the hle, will the hle be approved if the wife is working while the husband had been jobless for over a month(resigned). so how?
  7. thanks everyone for the advices. Now i m so relieved. yup, I already passed my keys to my mil so that she can go in n open doors for us. Re-valuation done n everything is settled. For now, we are waiting for the Otp to expire next week. and the buyers r too glad -dun hv to fork out a lot. and the agreed purchase price will remain the same.
  8. Yup this is my opinion.. hee hee so jr west not popular ah.. then good lor. i will gladly take any unit in jurong west cuz of the shops, mrt, school for my kid n nearer to my mum's too. SK n punggol definitely look good to live in but my hubby DUN want to live there cos too far from town n his workplace in TUAS.
  9. I just applied for this Oct half year sale too (the last min) i m targetting at Jurong west too. dun mind the repurchased flat. anyone else also targetting Jr. west??
  10. Ok all right since the buyers have the right to request for 2nd re-valuation, still we still want to keep the otp. bear in mind that the buyers had paid the option fee n even signed. Told my agent to settle with the buyer agent abt the cheque. And the same buyer had viewed my flat more than three times n liked my unit very much. still dun understand why the buyers are still unhappy with the price. Fyi, the buyers are only male, 25 yrs old and female, 22 years old. and my hubby heard from the male buyer that their 2nd baby on its way. It make us wonder if they can afford that unit or not. so the advice is shd we continue with this OTP or market our unit again?
  11. Ok on 8 Oct, the agreed purchase price was $350k(for 5room) on my unit n the buyer saw the valuation report n even signed on OTP. however, the buyers did give us the cheque for option fee. and then last night was told that the buyers want to re value my flat to $350K so that they dun hv to pay cov???? can u believe it????? and that mrg my hubby told me the cheque bounced(the reason was wrong signature)... ??? is it too much a coincidence???? so frustrating... we wanted to sell away faster so that we hv some cpf monies to buy a unit in western side. i dunno what are the buyers up to now. yes i did tell my hubby to ask the agent what we are supposed to do???? feel like playing out by the buyers. so maddening... i wonder if the buyers has the right to request for 2nd re-valuation report since the 1st valuation rpt is still valid. Can any1 enlighten me on this?
  12. Need advices. What shall we, the seller do with the cheque that bounced(supposed to be the option fee) and can we chase the buyer for the option fee and is it right for the buyers to get their re-valuation report again on my flat although we produced our current valuation report to the buyers that is only a month(have not expired yet for 3 Months). so lost>
