went 2 check out the reno progress in the evening. flr tiles of living rm was done half way liao. so i tink most probably recess skirting wil b done by end of nex wk... tis contractor quote me the same price as normal bronze/silver alum window. nt sure abt other contractors thou...

v hard to explain in words but i try... from wat i understand from my id, steel angle plates will be embedded into the recess before the floor tiles are laid and tag into the recess. the finished work will be a recess of abt 1" high x 1" wide recess all round the living and dining area. this is to create a sleek look when wall meets floor tiles. no more conventional skirting all round. hope can post a pic of it soon. pics are better than thousand words

yes not common. i sought 3 wdw contractors and only 1 of them carries it. cool!

workers juz started 2 work on 02.02.09 aft CNY holidays. photos are taken on 05.02.09 our 800x800 off-white homo tiles waterproofing for the 2 toilets our new stack. has 2 replace the extg 1 cos it was in a bad state 1 of the many bunches of wires hanging air con pipings in mbedrm/toilet

1st day of reno(afternoon) - selection of tiles @ ID. will choose dark grey tiles for balcony, both toilets & yard ID told us there's no white gloss homo tiles. so hv 2 settle for 800x800 off white homo instead day 2 of reno(15.01.08) - hacking of flr tiles went there straight aft work. ID 4got 2 give us the keys, so we hv 2 look thru the entrance gate. haha. the kitchen door is down liao. dun koe wats the status of the bedrms, bal & kitchen. but dun tink the workers r so fast since its juz 1st day of the 3 days allowed 4 hacking...
