Never ending story, if everyone keep comparing with other countries when they decide to deliver in Singapore. My mum didn't get charge for a single cent when I born in elsewhere, whereby my youngest sister kana fined $1000 when singapore thought that she is facing over-population at that time. Someone mention KKH's services are quite bad. But I have encountered nice experience there. Furthermore KKH offer more comprehensive treatment and care for your baby if (touch wood) your baby requires NICT or special treatment. Overall I spend $3.2K on my son's delivery + wife's cesarean (Oct 09), Class B2+, all deducted thru' my medisave. I didn't foot a single cent at the pre-admission office. I get back $830 cheque from KKH for the reimbursement of Maternity Package. So I use this $$$ for the avent milk bottles (6 x 4oz) + (4 x 9oz) and teats, milk bottle sterilizer, milk bottle warmer, stockpile of diapers which last me 3mths + cloth diapers, milk powder (2 cans per mth for 3mths), electrical sa long, liquid detergent/softener for baby clothing and milk bottles. This mth got to standby $300 for the 5-in-1 injection, as I forgotten to top-up baby's CDA last mth. $$$ for baby usage, is never enough one....

I avoid using Liang Food, YLS and ecreative. Orange Clove from Neo Garden group is the caterer I always rely on. Their curry chicken is still the best. International Catering (http://www.intl.com.sg/) is another buffet caterer that I like, esp their spicy dishes.

Trying to get some answers from my questions, please. I bought my 3-rm resale flat, without any grant in 2006. I intend to sell it off due to the hot demand around my area. So after the CPF refunds, and whatever proceeds to me, I intend to purchase a 4-rm resale flat near my parents. How much grants can I able to get from HDB? Let's say the purchase price of the my desired 4-rm is $320K, and my unit is $255K. My neighbor just sold his 3-rm unit @ $255K. Do I need to pay any cash upfront? Note: I am the only one contributing to the housing loans, and gross salary below $5K. Currently my last OA is about 15K.

Quite shack, got to bring him go polyclinic for jaundice level check. Luckily tdy my wife called me said his jaundice is below 100 at last, no need to go back again. Phew. His feeding time is strictly every 2.5hrs, the bottle must be fed to him within 2 mins, if not.... jialat. Change pamper like nobody business....

My son, Rylan was born 29 Oct 09 by c-section. He is in breech position, and doctor says this boy is too long @ 53cm, that's why can't turn himself.

Almost 32wks gestation liao, roughly another 6 more wks to go... Still as naughty as ever, always hide at his mummy's left side of her stomach everyday. Making her stomach bloated at one side and very uncomfortable. Any advise on how to "shift" this boy to the other side?

This little one is very naughty boy, will kick his mummy when he's hungry. After the mummy took her meals, he will stop kicking. I think he is a chiongster in future, always kicking at night one. Everyone is so happy with the newly addition of another boy in a year. My 2 sisters each delivered a boy in earlier this year, 2 wks apart. Hopefully the 3 of them will go NS 2gether. Btw, anyone engage a confinement lady during your wife's confinement period? Any recommendation, and their charges? I may engage one preferably from 8am-5pm. Greatly appreciated.
