He says between 7-8pm but we are not meeting at the new place. I am meeting him below Blk 347 (my mil's block) cos I've not got the keys to my flat yet. Current owner still staying there. Will only get my keys in April leh.

i understand what you mean. You english ok mah. Relocating the MBR door will have not much effect (in terms of fenghsui) Also, the MBR entrance is not directly opposite in the same track as the toilet so it is considered alright. As for the location of the bed, whatever u describe was what i initially planned to do. Unfortunately, fengshui master advice against it as that sector is not a good sector in the house thus if i put the bed there will result in squabbles. that's why the layout become like that

They only got 1 little girl. I guess the "spilling" of the toys is probably becos the owners did not have much storage space. Though their unit is spacious for a family of 3, other than a wardrobe in the MBR, there aren't anymore cupboards. That's why everything is out there. I also think above $40K is X. However, this is an opp to overhaul a place which gonna root for probably the next 10 years at least. So thought wanna put whatever is in our wishlist. As much as possible. hahahha. shall see how man. Need to scrutinise the cost, item by item. oh i like the idea of confining our shoes outside the door as well!! hehehhee less mess and dirt to be brought into the house.

I know what you mean. my current place is white tiles too and no matter how many times I sweep there will still be some stray hair somewhere... The current kitchen indeed is very well maintain. However, I'll like a more updated look. Thus, decide to let it go. The owner did try to ask us to keep it cos she just did the cabinet like 3-4 years ago if i am not wrong. Today, I received another 2 more quotations... both quoted above $40K... sigh... expensive...

yeah it is pretty dim. they don't have ceiling light in the living room one. just a string of halogen bulbs. didnt take pic of the toilets. pretty original condition but clean. heheheh ohh yah still got 3D. that is if i am engaging ID. if contractor then no have loh. The whole house is laminated flooring except the kitchen. I will have to replace the laminate cos it's already 9 years old. some parts starting to pop. Will be laying homo tiles for living dining and passage area. Laminate only for bedrooms. if budget allows, will go for all homo tiles including bedroom

Finally got the courage to ask current owner for permission to snap some photos during the fengshui audit. But the blur me forget to bring camera lah...... **** duh... so I got to make do with my handphone camera, that's why the quality of the photos are not fantastic.. This is the small FOYER AREA that was bought over. It's a bout 4 meter square. A view of the Living/dinning area and also passage way leading to bedrooms. Picture on the right is taken while standing at the balcony end. Kitchen MBR. Can't really get a good shot cos space is pretty challenging. 2 other Bedrooms After this posting, I guess that'll be no more pictures for the next few months till I get my keys and start the reno.

ok following up my last post on our latest decision not to relocate the bedroom entrance. Below is my updated version of layou plan proposed by me, again subject to endorsement from FSM as I added another length of wardrobe plus dressing table in MBR and a low cabinet in the boys' room Whether the above can be materialise is also dependent on the total cost of quotation. Seems like alot of carpentry work.. i dun have a gold hill to lean on.. so gotta do budget control.. Coming up will be pics of the current condition of the place.
