  1. Hi Z3phy I just bought a sugawa smart coooker at the Expo ytd and was searching fanatically for reviews on the cooker and recalled you had one too! how was it? Have you tried turning both on to cook? Read some reviews from Msia that it causes power failure and it's getting me worrying.
  2. Gosh!! This is definitely not what a houseowner want after spending so much on renovation. And I didn't know the tray from songcho was not stainless steel! For that price, it's really exorbitant! Thanks for the advice and sharing of experience Z3phy!
  3. Thanks Z3phy! Ya, I read thru all the pages, but was still hoping after the rectifications and stuff, review of them will be better. Lol. Coz price are really attractive. But to save myself from unnecessary headaches and heartaches, I guess I must think it carefully.. And Thanks for the link for the pull out trays! May I ask if it is stainless steel? I was thinking of getting it from songcho but the price is rather ex for each tray. I shall check out the link u provided! Thanks again! Rgds Sabrina
  4. Hi Z3phy, May I ask if the pull out shelves were bought from TB too? if so, can I have the link pls. I've shortlisted ID note as one of the renovators in my list too as the quotation was reasonable amongst the rest.. how was the workmanship after your renovation has completed? Thanks Sabrina
  5. Hi drunkenchivas If I could, can I find out the Reno quotation that you have been quoted and the contact of your contractor? I've gotten my key to new house and is in the search of contractor now. And could I have the contact for the granite top too? Many thanks in advance!
  6. Hi Sohnice With mostly white theme u have, yr hse looks more spacious and bright! Nice! Like yr alter too. Lucky thing I chanced upon yr renoblog.. Was having headache how shld the alter look like in order not to look too traditional and yet modern. Did u place backsplash or glass at the inside of the alter? It looks like there's reflection from it. Lastly, could I have yr Reno quote and the contacts of yr ID? And where did u purchase those switches & digital door lock? I reckon the door lock must have cost quite a bit. Thks much!
  7. Hi iPineapple Mind sharing me on the ID and electrician that you have engaged? Is the electrician being engaged separately or bundled with the reno quote?
  8. Hi Casa Mind pm me the cost of your Reno quote? My house shld be ready by next year and I'm very lost & not sure if my budget is sufficient. Btw, does pole system cost more than those built in wardrobe? Thanks in advance!
  9. Hi Aurelia Your hse is beautifully renovated! Can I know the damage spent for the Reno pls?
  10. Oh.. So rain will still splash in... Looks like I will need to install windows then as I don't like the damp damp feeling. Can pm me the Reno quote tat u had done for yr hse? Thks Yapht!
  11. Hi Yapht I see that you did not install windows at your service yard. Would the rain splash in? I'm hesitating to install windows or not too.. although mine is still a long way to go.. can I know yr quote too? Thks!
  12. Thanks Pinkwhale!! Ya.. Signed up for renotalk the moment my flat is being enbloc as I know this is a very interesting place where I could read alot and learn alot in Reno from the experts! And also to 'steal' some beautiful ideas on renovation!
  13. Hi Pinkwhale It's interesting reading your tblog and seeing that your creation falling nicely in place! Mind sharing your ID contact & quote? My new hse should be ready by next year and I have a tight budget to work on. Am indecisive in engaging a contractor or ID in the first place, as from what I heard, ID will usually settle everything for u. But judging from yr contractor, I see that he is taking the initiatives in getting things done! Eager to see the completed look of yr hse!
  14. Hi to all Tanglin neighbours!! I need some advice from all.. I am currently having headache on the selection of 4-room new flat for Commonwealth 10.. My Q no. is 500 plus, hence chances of getting a bigger unit on high level is rather difficult... So now... I'm indecisive.. Should I go for smaller unit - 85sqm (chance of getting high floor is higher) or go for 90sqm (chances is low as most of the units are taken... ) From the layout, the differences between 90sqm & 85sqm is the living room... But does anyone know what's the difference like?? Help!!
  15. Hi Supersimon27 Can pm me the contact for Henry? Thanks in advance!
