My leather sofa from HTL started peeling after 1.5 yr had to throw away after 3 yrs, my previous set from a unknown shop,the leather lasted 7yrs but had to throw it away as the kids jumped on it till it broke. So beware when buying leather sofa even from branded names.

Hi just want to ask if there is any problem with heat generated by the built in oven affecting the cabinet and will heat penetrate to the next compartment affecting things stored there? Still trying to decide whether to built in the oven or buy a table top oven. Thanks for any input.

Will the heat from the built in oven affect the cabinet ? Will heat build up in the surrounding storage areas? I'm worried that the heat will spoil things stored in the nearby cabinet so hesitating to build in the oven. Can anyone enlighten me. Thanks

Hi, I need suggestions from the baking experts here on which electric mixer should I get, Kenwood, Kitchen Aid etc. I wonder if anyone have any experience with the Kenwood Prospero KM266, as Kenwood having a offer on it for $499? I'm into baking cookies, muffins, making pizza dough and bread. I'd burnt one or two cheaper mixers trying to make icecream. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I'm considering Teka or Bosch induction hob. How's your De Dietrich induction hob? Where did you buy it?

What kind of solid surface did you get? I was also thinking of getting an induction hob, what brand did you buy? thankful for infor you'd given.

I love your common toilet too. Is there storage behind the mirror? Is the sink and the top of the cabinet one piece?

I'm also presently trying to renovate my terrace but I only found out that all the AA the previous owner did had not been submitted, hence have to get a QP to submit my plans and set back my budget by 12k and delay my reno plans.

If the house is very old, sometimes the owner might not even have the floor plans. The house that I bought is 40+yrs and the owner doesn't have the floor plans as the previous owner didn't pass it to him and even BCA doesn't have one . So only way is to do our own floor plan by measuring it.

Condition of leather on sofa is quite bad but it's recliner mechanism is still working. Don't think salvation army will want it, condo management say they do not provide disposal service for furniture, so have to find my own way of disposing it. sigh
