due to some budget constraint, we have taken out quite a lot of items in our original quotation/contract with my id... good thing my id still give us the same discount from our original contract...it helped us quite a lot

sorry for the super long no updates from me. sharing some few prerenovations photos, first heres my original house layout proposal: the 2 common rooms will not be touched except for painting. living room, plan to retain the floor tiles due to budget and layover laminated flooring later kitchen wall, hack all and replace new homogenous tiles existing aircon line at master bedroom, my id say new line will run on the same location

hi im a structural engr so i know why this prefab wall is really hard to drill. because prefab wall uses a very high grade concrete compared to normal ones.

i think if you buy the laminate flooring from the supplier, they will install it for free.

thanks mickey, its hard to monitor, i can only visit my house during evening after my work to check for the progress. charemme, WC and basin, provided by my maincon, actualy i should have gotten my own also, anyway, the one provided by my contractor seems ok... this reno is really on a tight budge, hehe. i will also be doing some DIY stuffs, maybe i can share here. plan to work on weekends...

Hi, Today starts my renovation works by my contractor, as they are doing my house, im thinking of doing some DIY stuffs such as shoe cabinets and some small tables. Do you guys know any timber stores where i can buy plyboards or plywoods around east side? Also, if you have any rough idea how much per 4'x8' size? In terms of delivery, do they provide also? Sorry if i have many questions....

Hi, Sorry, dont know if this is where I should ask this. I just want to know how contractors measure the cabinets in terms of length. Because my contractor quoted me 20ft kitchen top and bottom. And I wanted to create an L shaped bottom. How do they measure the L shaped? from the outer, middle or innermost length? Also, my contractor quoted me a price per additional feet of cabinet, if I wanted to do a vertical cabinet/how do they measure it also. Thanks, hope someone can give me an advise..

hi dolhpin81, their kitchen package is nice. went to their showroom and they showed me that kitchen package, it looks nice. and if you wanted to do more cabinets, my id quoted me additional $100/ft
