  1. The Philips Carnival Sale is also so-so. The discounts are not exactly fantastic
  2. Haha ... ok. The natural cool guys is definitely blowing winds. My flat in sengkang is even using sys 4.
  3. So do you get your aircon already? Yeah, it's good time for zzz ...
  4. If the owner is changing the tiles, shouldn't it warrant for a 3D? The owner need to *approximately* visualize how the rooms would be with new tiles (and maybe new color of paint). IMO, it's a case of different expectation. If it's an empty bedroom or basic toilet, there's no harm for ID to give you the 3D since it'd be very simple (2-3 hours man hour).
  5. I beg to differ. After the 1st apptment, the deal is NOT done. What has been signed on the 1st apptment? If the seller back out before 2nd apptment, the buyer can sue him. But what will he get? At most, he can sue that he backed out of the OTP, etc. So, seller might want to compensate some $$ to buyer for all the inconveniences he caused. That's all.
  6. For $80, is it drawer or rack? What's the size. Assume it's rack, is it the wooden/simple rack? Or is it stainless steel? Or is it Blum one? For stainless steel rack or Blum inner drawer, it's about there. For standard rack where the carpenter makes the box/drawer and install a track on both sides, it's very expensive.
  7. Yup, I agree. The curtains are nice. The place looks big because there's not much furniture yet. This is the 1st time we own a house
  8. Get a contractor to do it. The cost would be high since it's only 1 job.
  9. Power Socket in the Kitchen Glass backpanel So far, there's no visible trunking at all. I also have no idea how it's being done ...
  10. Dining Table/Area Foyer Living Room + Sofa Curtains (done by Jason)
  11. It depends on how much do you want to pay. For a small amount of money and hassle, proceed to the nearest laundry-mat. For minimum hassle and more amount, you could get even extra feature for auto-washing. Get a part-time maid
  12. Unfortunately no. My fren bought it for me as present
  13. Hmm ... details can be ironed out later on. Now depends on the admin/moderator whether they will add this wiki thing. I'm sure it's very useful for the community.
  14. That's just an idea Any blog will do. This is to ensure that the wiki is created by house owners. Otherwise, you will the wiki become advertisements.
  15. Wow ... don't play2 with samy-jie. Very fierce
  16. Ironically, my other half would choose the former. That's why for speaker shopping, shouldn't bring the WAG
  17. Ideally, RT admin creates new sub section so it becomes www.renotalk.com/wiki ... so it complements wiki. But if RT admin doesn't do it, it means have to be new website. www.renowiki.com
  18. Saw you asked ossify, i think he's electrician should be not bad one ... Maybe jaskel also has contacts for that?
  19. If we group up, we'll have an new website .. RenoWiki.com To apply for an account, must have a good RT t-blog first. I feel a wiki could be effective to gather all the info. I have been in RT for 6 months (short period) but I have seen ppl keep askign the same questions again and again.
